it was the next day.
as usual i check my socials
then got out of bed and changed.
for today's outfit i put on a black crop top and a pair of cameo pants with of course my air forces.
i walked downstairs to see a note from my parents saying that they won't be back till late and they had left 20 bucks so i could get some food.
i grabbed the 20 dollars and i headed out the back door into the woods.
as i was having my drink of blood
i heard someone. i let the bunny go and wiped the blood off my mouth.
i get up turn around and there he is
grayson
"hey kelsey"
"uh hey... what are you doing here?"
"i love going through the woods"
"oh uh uh well that's cool"
"yeah i assume your heading to school?"
"oh um yeah just had to stop real quick to um tie my shoes" i say nervously hoping he didn't see what i was doing
"right... do you want to walk together?"
"together where?"
"to school?"
"oh yeah sorry uh yeah no sure"
"great" he says as we both start walking
"so tell me more about yourself" grayson says
"what do you wanna know?"
"anything"
"well i'm 17, i'm an only child, my favorite color is blue, and i moved here from new york.. what about you"
"what do you wanna know" he says copying me
"anything"
"well i'm 18, i have a twin brother and an older sister, my favorite color is green, and i've lived in jersey all my life."
"interesting"
"know this is a kinda strange question but have you ever been in love?" he asks me
that question made my face drop
"yeah but it all went to shit in the end because he cheated on me with some hoe" i say with a neutral face
"fuck him. he doesn't know what he's missing out on" he says as we make eye contact while still walking which led me trip and embarrass myself.
"you okay?" he says as he grabs my hand pulling me up which leads us to be very close. due to me being 5'3 and him being a literal tree i had to look up for our eyes to meet.
our moment was ruined when sydney walks out of the woods and notices we were together and runs up to us.
"hey kels... hey grayson" she says shyly while looking at him
"hey" grayson says
"hey what's wrong syd?" i ask
"uh can you come with me i need to talk to you... it's important"
"yeah um yeah sure"
"i should probably go find nessa" grayson says
"oh um yeah see you in a bit?" i say while looking back at his gorgeous eyes that i could get lost in
"see you in a bit" he says then walks away.
"why are you with grayson?" sydney asks me freaking out
"he just came up to me in the woods and asked if we could walk together and i said sure..." i answer before getting cut off
"don't fall for his charm bro"
"what do you mean"
"i did it once and look where it got me"
"i'm not falling for nobody's charm" i say as we start walking inside the school
"mhm if you say so"
"even if i were... which i'm not! i can deal with vanessa"
"i hope you're right"
time skip: after school
school was finally over.
sydney wanted to go to this diner that she claims is "the best diner ever"
so that's exactly where we were going to go
i was walking down the empty hallway to go meet up syd at the front of the school so we could walk to the diner
but then i felt someone's presence
before they had a chance to do anything i pushed them up on the wall with one hand on the wall and the other hand on their chest
then i saw who it was
grayson.
"who knew you could be strong"
"what do you want?" i respond with a chuckle
"wanna hang out maybe?"
"can't. i'm going to the dinner with sydney"
"you can hang out after that can't you?"
"maybe" i say looking up at him
"perfect i'll text you and we can meet at your house" he says as he starts to walk away
"how do you even have my number?"
"i have my ways" he says as he looks back at me once more then he kept walking
i continue my walk when i saw
syd
"you took an awful lot to get here"
"yeah my bad got caught up"
"hm well are you ready to go?" she says with a smile
"yup" i say as we both start walking through the front doors.
