I look up from the ground
To see your sad and teary eyes
You look away from me
And I see there's something you're trying to hide
And I reach for your hand but it's cold
You pull away again
And I wonder what's on your mind
And then you say to me you made a dumb mistake
You start to tremble and your voice begins to break
-Be alright, Dean Lewis

We make our way to Noah's jeep hand in hand.

His hands fit perfectly in mine like it's made for my hand.

Ok, I know that sounds cheesy but let a girl dream.

After a short 10 minute drive without any conversations whilst song playing silently filling the awkwardness, we reached at an abandoned school.

"Don't tell me" I glanced at Noah to confirm my imagination.

"You bought me to an abandoned school, in the middle of night, how cliche can you be?"

He just smiled and gave me his hand again, and rolling my eyes I accepted it. Again.

We walked through our way to the school's back avoiding thorny little plants. There was these two school buses, which looked old from rusty iron, covering the bus. Noah kicked open the door easily and looked behind me and gave me a wink.

"Oh! Give me a break it was old anyways" I rolled my eyes and made my way inside the bus.

"Keep rolling your eyes and it'll fall out next time you'd do it."

I just stuck my tounge out as a response.

Mature, I know.

I awkwardly made myself comfortable in seat and Noah got seated in dead opposite of mine.

"Now, what?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"I don't know, you tell me" he just shrugged in response.

"You bring me here in the middle of night, in an abandoned school, in an old rusty bus and you don't even know what you want to do" I replied kind of aggravated.

"You accepted though."

Shit! He got a point a there.

"Let's play 20 questions" he said.

"Like seriously, can you be any more cliche?" I asked him.

He rolled his eyes in response.

"Keep rolling your eyes and it'll fall out next time you'd it" I said in a mocking voice.

"Ok, let's start with an introduction."

"I already know you, you're Noah Carter and love smirking and you know me, Katherine Evans who hates her life."

He rolled his eyes and said,

"My name is Noah Carter, nice to meet you" he stretched his hand towards me indicating a handshake.

"I'm Katherine Evans, nice to meet you too" I said it through my teeth.

Where are we going with this?

"Why do you get bullied in school?"

Wow! Talk about jumping to the point.

"Why do you care?"

"Because I don't want another person ending their life just because they got bullied" he shrugged like it was the most normal thing he said.

I blinked several times trying to comprehend what he just said, with a sad smile on his face. Is this the same Noah who always smirked? Did something happened with him? Someone close to him got bullied and ended their life?

"What?"

"I've read so many articles on how people end their lives just because they got bullied. And I don't want you to end yours."

Oh! Nevermind.

"Don't worry I'm not stupid enough to end my life just because people bully me."

"Okay this is too much for starting, so let's go to basics. What's your favourite colour?" I changed the subject.

"You can guess, it's easy" he smiled at me and cocked his head to side, that's when I noticed a little tattoo peaking from his black tee.

"Black?"

"No, why do you even guess that?" He frowned and came to the edge of his seat.

"You know nevermind don't answer that. It's pink" he smiled. The most brightest smile I've ever seen.

"What? Why?" I chuckled.

"It was my little sister's favourite colour" he looked at me from his lashes and smiled at me.

"Omg! When can I meet her? You know I always wanted a little sister so-"

"She's dead" his voice broke in between saying the two words.

I was speechless who would knew a guy like Noah who's always smiling would be so sad deep down inside.

That's why they said, never judge a book by its cover.

"I-I-"

"If you're sorry then don't be."

"I was about to say that you didn't deserve this, you're good human as far as I've known you."

"Oh! I don't think you deserve bullying too." He retorts.

"I think I do, I dont deserve to be here. My sister does. I don't deserve anything. I'm not a good human" I said with a sad chuckle.

"Not everyone is born bad, it's not your fault that people treats you like that, like trash. You're good inside out and no one is able to see the real beauty inside you."

I didn't even notice that he was holding both of my hands in his hands and we came closer than we're before. And his eyes intensely staring into mine.

I never wanted to leave his hands. Ever again.

"I'm not good person Noah, you don't know me" I said in almost whisper, fearing he would leave me the second he know the real me.

"As far as I know you and want to know you-"

"I was the reason behind someone's death Noah" I kind of yelled and snached my hands away from his and glanced down on my lap, memories making their way into my head and tears rolled down my cheeks.

"She's dead, because of me. Do you still think that I don't deserve this, or I'm a good person?"
