A/N~These are all just filler chapters. I'm sorry if it's boring and I'm sorry I'm taking so long to get to the good bits. I'm just trying to drag things out so all the drama doesn't happen in the first few chapters and the rest is boring. Or the book only ends up being a few chapters long. I'm trying to make it introduce itself first because I hate stories that rush into things. Thanks for reading! Love you all!

Zoe's POV

I thought over Alfie's words. Just you being here makes us even. Did Alfie like me? No, of course not, that would be silly. He said himself you're a great friend Zoe, at the end. I couldn't help feeling disappointed about that, but I didn't know why.

Alfie climbed into bed beside me. At first he pressed himself to the very edge to give me space.

"Alfie, I don't mind sharing a bed. You don't have to be so wary. Friends share beds all the time. I'm

Completely at ease around you," I told him, sipping my milk and honey.

Alfie scooted closer to me and I finished my drink and put it on his dresser. I covered the rest of the space between us and lay my head on his chest.

"Sorry.." I said, hoping he didn't think anything of my behaviour. "I hate storms and I'm so scared and stressed. I just need someone to hold me."

At that Alfie wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me tighter against my chest. I completely relaxed into his arms, my head lolling onto his shoulder, his chin buried into my hair. I nuzzled into the crook of his neck. Previously the cold and numbness had consumed me but now Alfie's heat radiated onto me as I felt safe and happy.

I fell asleep not five minutes later, from the milk and honey or Alfie holding me I didn't know.

In the morning, as predicted, I woke up before Alfie. His arm was slung protectively over me so it was hard to get out. I gently lifted it off me and placed it on a cushion.

Bored, I opened twitter and took a photo of Alfie sleeping and posted it.

@Zozeebo: Sleepover with @PointlessBlog! Alfie's still sleeping, lazy bum! ;-) xx

When the photo uploaded I took a quick shower in Alfie's bathroom. I had my makeup in my handbag luckily and quickly did my makeup routine, although sadly I didn't bring my skin products. I brushed my teeth and tied my hair into a high, messy ponytail. I wore my disco pants from yesterday and one of Alfie's t-shirts he gave me tucked into the pants, loosely puffing out. Once I was finished I walked into Alfie's bedroom and saw he was sitting up, rubbing his eyes.

"Good morning sleepyhead!" I laughed, plopping down beside him.

"Morning Zo," said Alfie groggily.

"Did you have a nice sleep?" I asked.

"Lovely, you?" Alfie asked.

"Better than I have had in a long time," I admitted. "How about I go and make us some breakfast while you get ready?"

"That would be great, thanks, Zo," Alfie said appreciatively.

"What would you like?" I asked, standing up and hovering in the doorway.

"Hmm...I quite fancy eggs, if that's not too much bother," Alfie winked.

"Coming right up!" I chirped, heading for Alfie's kitchen.

"Be down in a few!" Alfie called after me.

I took out my camera and started vlogging as I made Alfie some sausages, scrambled eggs and toast and myself some Greek yoghurt and fresh fruit. Then I whipped us both up a berry smoothie and laid out the table.

I called Alfie downstairs and he came quickly, obviously having smelled the food. When I saw him in the door frame, I made him say hi to the camera and then snapped it shut.

"Bon appetite, Mr Deyes!" I said in a crap French accent.

"This looks delicious Zoe! I'm going to have to have you stay more often," Alfie chuckled. "And a smoothie! I love smoothies."

"Glad you like it, Alf, but you'd have best try it before you make any decisions about my cooking. It isn't really my forte," I giggled.

Alfie laughed with me and dug into his food.

"No, Zoe, it's actually really nice," Alfie said approvingly.

I shrugged. "You get surprised every day!"

When we finished I started to clear up and Alfie helped me.

"Oh, I just realised you're wearing my shirt!" Alfie exclaimed.

"I hope you don't mind, my tops all crumpled," I pouted.

"No, it's fine. You can keep it," Alfie said. "It looks cute on you."

"Aw, thanks, Alf," I smiled. "I'll gladly take you up on that offer."
