About an hour after breakfast, Joe arrived to pick me up from Alfie's.
"Hey Alfie, d'you wanna come back to ours and we can film a video maybe? I really need to do a collaboration with PointlessBlog!" I said.
"Awesome! I'll get a ton of new viewers filming with the Princess of Beauty herself!" Alfie grinned.
Joe didn't look too pleased. I wondered why. We got into his car, Joe in the front, me in the passenger seat and Alfie in the back.
"Joe," I began. "Can you drop me off at that place where I left my car? I really need to bring it home."
"Sure Zoe," Joe replied. "Alfie, you riding me with me, right, mate?"
Alfie nodded, seeming a little disappointed, and so was I. I wanted to ride with Alfie! He was so much fun, the car journey would be much more entertaining riding with him. But it was only fifteen minutes, I guess.
"I'll stop and get Nandos for lunch as well," I said cheerily.
After taking Joe and Alfie's orders, Joe dropped me off outside Nandos and I went in and ordered.
As I exited the shop, I couldn't help feeling someone was watching me...
I shrugged it off and headed to where I parked my car, but when I reached it, my mouth fell open. All four of my tyres were split, and written on the dust on my engine was the words 'Watch your back, Princess Zoella. I'm everywhere'.
I dropped the bags of Nandos in shock and looked around frantically. What if someone was watching me right now?! In a panic, I hurried into the nearest shop, sheltering behind a rail of clothes. I backed away from the door silently until... CRASH.
I jumped a mile and spun around, but I'd just bumped into a random stranger looking at some shorts. Then I took a closer look at the stranger and noticed it was Jack Harries from Jacksgap!
"Jack!" I cried. "I'm so sorry! But it's a good thing you're here..."
"What's wrong Zoe?" Jack asked, concerned.
"S-someone slit my tyres," I squeaked.
"What? Why would someone do that?" asked Jack, furrowing his brow. "Do you know who it was?"
"No," I said, tears starting to pool up in my eyes.
I couldn't help myself, I told him exactly what was written on my engine.
Jack turned pale. "Zoe..You need to call the police. That's serious stuff."
"N-No," I said. "I can't."
"You can," Jack protested. "C'mon, take a picture of the car to send in."
He brought me out the door and to where my car was parked.
"Wha-?"
The writing on the engine was gone, there was so sign it'd ever been there. No water washed it off, no hands smudged it. It was like it was never there...
"The tyres are definitely slit..." Jack said, peering at my wheels. "Where's the writing, Zo?"
"I don't know!" I wailed. "It was right there!" I pointed.
"Hmm...Do you think it got washed off?" Jack asked.
"There's no traces of it," I said. "Maybe I'm imagining things, Jack..."
But the tyres ...Oh God, I don't even know.
"I'll call Finn and get him to take you car to the garage to get it fixed and I'll take you home. It's OK Zoe. I promise everything will be fine," Jack told me, and started calling his twin.
He started to walk away from me so I couldn't here what he was saying, but the wind carried wisps of his conversation.
"Well done, Finn," he said, and I heard it clear as day.
