Harry Potter had met Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger on the train to Hogwarts. They all had the same ambitions and soon became good friends. Once they reached Hogwarts, the students hobbled into the great Hall. Eager eyes glared at Harry. He could hear a few murmurs about him. The staring finally subsided when the Sorting Ceremony begun. Professor McGonagall called Hermione over. She sat on the stool and the hat was placed on her head.
"AHH Miss Granger" the Hat sneered
"I see lots of intelligence and ambition. I see bravery and a very eager ambition inside you, but where to put you?" The hat though for a good few minutes. Eventually it came to a conclusion.
"SLYTHERIN!"
The Slytherins cheered as Hermione walked over to their table, stone faced. She had mixed emotions about this. She gave Ron a thumbs up as he sat on the stool and the hat was placed on his head.
"Hmmm, another Weasley. I clearly see ambition, lots of it. I also see a thirst to prove yourself. But do you belong with your brothers or where your heart belongs?"
The hat did not linger over this much longer and declared
"SLYTHERIN!"
The Slytherins cheered as Ron walked over to their table. There were a few gasps from the Gryffindor table as the other Weasley's shared a look of betrayal and shock.
Next it was Harry's turn.
Harry had the hat placed on his head.
"Oooh Potter' the Sorting hat started.
"I see ambition and talen, lots of it. There's a very strong mind and I think you would do great things in Slytherin ".
Harry didn't say anything. He was quite ambitious and maybe he would be better of in Slytherin with his friends.
"SLYTHERIN!" The hat announced.
The Slytherins cheered and there were also quiet a few shocked gasps and murmurs from the crowd.
Harry say beside Ron and Hermione.
They were going to do great things together...
