Surely enough, I found box number 6. Inside was more to the tale that the professor wanted to tell. Problem was, the skies were growing a little dark.

"...Chapter... 6?" I squinted at the paper.

"What's the matter? Ya need glasses or?" said Jack.

"It's really dark, what with the clouds and all..." I muttered.

"But it's not even evening yet?" The malamute looked up to the heavens. "The hell, sky?"

"Squeak..." Chewdo sighed.

"Give me the paper, I'll take a crack at it."

I handed it over, and Jack squinted a bit, too.

"...I think I can just about read this, ahem ahem..."

CHAPTER 6
A SECRET TRIO

— - — - — - — - —

Year 2119:
"W- h- wh-" P stuttered, backing himself into the corner.

It's only been a few days since P married, and therefore it's also been quite emotional already. Despite that, O called P for an out-of-the-blue rendezvous to meet their thought-to-be-forgotten creation, Roborodent (or rather, Chewdo).

O did give him a warning and brief introduction beforehand, so he somewhat knew what to expect, but it was still quite the shocker.

"B- but..." P was completely astonished with the metal mouse. O made so many changes to him, yet he was still recognizable with his cyan and yellow marble eyes and steampunk body. Chewdo waved his paws at P from the study table, amused.

"Come on, say hi!" the brother said. O only had good intentions, and that is to finally stop keeping this secret from P. "He doesn't bite. I promise."

"..."

P came closer and hesitantly reached out his palm. Chewdo kneaded his head against it. P smiled a bit. "...I'm... really sorry about killing you... 9 years ago..."

"Wow... it's been a while, huh." O scratched his head. "He forgives you, I'm certain. In fact, he wanted to see you properly for quite some time. I even brought him to the wedding, but you were too preoccupied."

"Squeak." Chewdo crossed his arms, acting upset. O and P laughed.

"He's such an intelligent mouse!" said P. "How on Earth did you do it?"

"Well..."

They talked and talked about the little mouse, and the brothers reminisced back to how things used to be, back when they were just young engineers-to-be.

The two agreed to take turns caring for Chewdo, then had lengthy conversations about nothing in particular. Then, regarding O's involvement with the UN.

"...So," O changed the topic, twiddling his thumbs.

"Hm?" P looked to O.

"...Do you want to join me in the program?"

"Sure!" P agreed. O sighed in relief. "I'd love to properly find out how this even happened too."

"Squeak!" Chewdo cuddled against P's hand.

"Even Chewdo agrees!" laughed P.

Two weeks later, P was asked to go to the UN HQ for an interview and potential briefing, leaving O and Chewdo on their bed for a usual chatter.

"So, Chewdo 'the Mouse' Ryieszenski," O grinned. Chewdo giggled at the name. "What do you think about my brother so far?"

"Squeak!" Chewdo jumped, bouncing around in excitement.

"Is he how you thought he would be?" O asked, smiling.

The mouse nodded. O let out a sigh. "You really are a miracle, ya know?"

"Squeak?" Chewdo tilted his head. O reached his hand out to pet him.

"I thought I'd never get as close with P as I did way back when."

Chewdo huddled up next to me. "Squeak..."

O reached for his study table drawer and pulled out a small bell. He attached it to the mouse's tail with some aluminum wire.

"Thank you for being here for the past 9 years, Chewdo." O pet him again.

Jingle jingle! Chewdo smiled and nodded, kneading his hand in return.

Year 2120:
"Chewdo! I'm home!" said O.

The metal rodent dashed over to O. "Squeak! ...Squeak eak eak?" He traced a "P" in the air with his paw.

"Ah, P's still with his wife at the hospital," he replied. "P properly has a son now. "

"Squeaaaaaak!?" Chewdo was in awe. O laughed.

"He's called Andrew," added P. "Andrew Melvin Ryieszenski, brother of Amelia Maxine Ryieszenski."

"Squeak..." Chewdo found it cute.

"That means I'm an uncle twice over..." O sighed. "...God I need a wife..."

"Squeaaak!" The mouse nudged at O with a grin. O laughed again.

Dear Igor, Jack, and Chewdo,

I honestly... don't know what to write here, haha. "P joined the program, woop woop, crackin'!" maybe?

This next clue's a bit harder to navigate through. Therefore, here's a map (which hopefully makes sense!) to help. Chewdo should know the way, too, so you shouldn't have to fret. All the best!

Faithfully,
Prof. O. R. Ryieszenski

"...For the love of Meikel..." Jack stared at the map.

"What? What's wrong?" I asked, sitting next to Chewdo on the sidewalk.

"That's miles away!" He showed the marked destination to me.

The map was printed from online, with the route and destination marked out with blue lines and a red pointer. The paper was yellowed and faded a bit with age, but was thankfully still readable.

"It's a weird path to take, too." He raised a brow.

"Hm?"
