Wake Up, You're Different

Chapter 2

"What's going on?"
"Okay. I'll explain."
"GOOD YOU BETTER"
"When I was in the coma, I could hear everything for all 3 years but couldn't communicate with the outside world. I heard what you said that day..."
She looked at me for a good 5 minuets, we just sat there in silence. Finally she said
"You broke up with him for me?"
"Yes"
Tears started streaming down my face
"Shhh it's okay, I feel the same way. But Luca...I don't know what to do about him. I don't know if my parents will except me."
"Syd they will always love you because you are their daughter. And about him...he doesn't have to know."

Syd pulled me close to her. I put my head on her shoulder and fell asleep. She ended up wrapping her arms around me and I felt safe and warm. I knew nothing could touch us. I felt her untangle herself from me about 2 hours later.
"Syd, don't go. I was warm and comfortable. You can't leave you're sad girlfriend alone."
"Well if I don't show up to see Luca he will get suspicious. Anyway don't be sad because your mine and I'm yours."
"Ugh whatever but come back later, I just texted my dad and he said you could sleepover if your parents are cool with it."
"Okay I'll text them and see what they say. I love you Paisley"
"I love you too Syd"

Later she came back. I was in my room, pretty upset.
"Paisley what's wrong sweetie?"
"Nothing I just don't feel to great mentally, ever since I woke up I've been having panic attacks and feeling depressed even when good things happen."
"Aww I know what will make you feel better."
"What?"
"DISNEY MOVIE MARATHON!!"
"YAAAAAAY, you know I love those"
"That's why I said it"
"Awwww I love you"
"Not as much as I love you"

As I laid in bed, Syd put on the first Disney movie, The Little Mermaid because she knew it was my favorite movie. Syd climbed into bed with me and put her arms around me. I snuggled up with her and she whispered.
"I don't want to let you go"
"Can we stay like this forever? Away from everyone?"
"P, I love you but I want to show my girlfriend off as soon as I end things with Luca. I promise."
"Okay"
With that she kissed my forehead and snuggled closer to me. I got a text. I wondered if it was my dad so I grabbed it.

Kyle xoxo: Hey since you dumped me for her, I think I should expose you. Maybe not tonight but be ready for your life to be a living hell. Hate ya too.

"Syd"
She was reading over my shoulder, she was appalled by what he said. She wondered who would want to hurt me after all of been through.
"P, he's not going to do this to us, I promise and if he does make your life hell, then I'll go through it with you. I won't leave you."
"I don't deserve you"
"Yes you deserve me and more good things in your life."

She kissed my forehead and we finished the movie in silence.
I woke up with her arms around me. I didn't remember anything but I was happy. I was happy with her. Syd was still asleep so I unwrapped myself from her and went downstairs. I went downstairs to make breakfast. My parents had already left for work. After about an hour I was done making breakfast so I went upstairs to wake up Syd. When I got upstairs she was still asleep.
"Sweetie wake up, I made pancakes, your favorite"
"Thanks P, I love you"
"I love you more"
"I don't know I love you so much"
"I bet I love you more"
"Show me then"
"Okay"
"After we eat, I'm starving"
"Okay, you better promise"
"Yeah sweetie, I promise"
After we ate we were laying on my bed watching another movie. Syd started to kiss me. Then she moved on to kissing my neck. When she was done there I had a mark. She took off my clothes and I took off hers. After a while we were both exhausted.
"Syd that was great, I've never been so close with anyone before"
"Same here P, I told you I loved you more."
"I still doubt it but I'll let you think that because you're so cute."
I kissed her and I snuggled up with her When we finished the movie I realized I would have to start school soon. I was being homeschooled over the summer to catch up on everything I missed. Every time I was stressed, Syd would kiss me and tell me everything would be okay, but in private of course. I really want to go back to school and kiss her in public but she's still dating Luca. I don't want us to be a secret anymore.
