Wake Up, You're Different

Chapter 5

Syd woke up first. She woke me up by kissing me.
"Syd let me sleep"
"No I need to shower. Can you come with me?"
"Ugh I'm warm don't make me move"
Syd pulled me out of bed anyway. She started the shower and started taking off her shirt. I couldn't help but stare.
"You like what you see P?"
"Of course because no one is a beautiful as you."
I took of my shirt. We both hopped into the shower and started making out. The warm water was running down my back. Syd started to nibble on my neck, she left a huge mark.
"Really Syd?"
"Yeah I want the world to see how much I love you."
"You're still tired aren't you?"
"Yeah why?"
"Because you get VERY emotional but I love it."
I wrapped my arms around her and never wanted to let go.
"P I should actually shower."
"No you smell fine just let me love you a while longer."
"P...are there more?"
She said looking at my wrists
"Umm no"
I couldn't believe I lied right to her face. I didn't want to lie to someone I loved but I didn't want to worry her. She is the only person who truly loves me in this world and I can't let her go. I woke up while she was asleep and did it so she wouldn't know. I should tell her but I'll tell her later.
"You know you can tell me P, I want to help you"?
"I know, let's finish up and then we can talk."
"Okay"
We finished our shower and we were sitting on my bed.
"Paisley"
"Fine there's more"
I started crying uncontrollably, I realized that she'll be mad I didn't tell her before and mad that I did it again.
"Paisley it's okay, I'm not mad. I'll love you no matter what okay? Just tell me everything"
She grabbed my hand and squeezed it. I knew she wasn't mad.
"Syd I told you before that I've struggled with this my whole life but lately everything is worse. I'm starting to remember things from before the coma. All I really remember was this man was out to kill me."
"Paisley you could have told me this was happening."
"I didn't want to because I don't want to stress you out more that I already do. You are always worried about me and I don't want to worry you."
I was still crying uncontrollably. She knew I wasn't doing well.
"P you don't stress me out but you need to tell me these things so we can get through them. I also want to find this killer. Because if he tried to kill you I'm going to hurt him. No one hurts the woman I love."
She kissed my forehead.
"And P I promise that you'll get better because you are stronger than you know."
"I love you"
"I love you too"

I was running from a car. Really fast. Then I heard a voice "she won't love you" then I was in a coma. I woke up crying into Syd's chest.
"Shhhhhhh it's okay P"
"But it's not"
"Paisley you're going to be okay"
I was sobbing uncontrollably now.
"You're okay P, you're here with me"
