Normani's POV
Two weeks later...
I was ready to go home because I wanted to go see Y/N. She was busy and had just gotten back to Texas too from California. She was asleep the whole time I was on the road, so I had no one to talk to. When we got home, I cooked some pasta. Y/N texted me asking what was I doing. I sent her a picture of the pasta and she immediately replied back asking me to bring her some. I grabbed a Tupperware bowl and put some pasta in the bowl for Y/N. I went upstairs, put on a different shirt and grabbed my car keys. On the way out the door, I grabbed my phone and the pasta. I told my parents bye and left the house. I got in my car and started it. I drove over to Y/N's and parked in on the side of the street. I got out and went to knock on the door. As soon as I was about to knock on the door, it swung open revealing a shirtless Y/N.
"Yay, food," she said and was about to grab the bowl, but I put it behind my back.
"Come on, Mani. I'm hungry and my dad doesn't feed me," Y/N said pouting.
"She's lying. She just ate," her dad yelled from the kitchen.
"Give me a hug and I might give you the food," I told the taller girl. She pulled me into a hug. Her hands rested on my lower back and mine were wrapped around her neck.
"I missed you," she said and pulled me into the house, "Did you watch me on Ellen today?"
"I was going to, but you told me to bring you some pasta," I replied sitting on the sofa next to Y/N. She made me cuddle with her while she ate the pasta. She tried feeding me some, but I just shook my head.
"I'm not hungry, Y/N," I told her because it was true.
"It's just one bite, Mani," She said holding the fork up to my mouth. I rolled my eyes and ate the pasta.
"Happy?" I asked and she nodded. She changed to channel to the recorded episode of Ellen she was on and skipped to the part with her.
"Please, welcome Y/N!" Ellen said loudly. Y/N walked out wearing some blue ripped jeans, a black long sleeve and some black AirMax. She was looking like a meal. She had on a small gold chain to match her watch and nose ring. She gave Ellen a hug and sat down. She waved at the screaming crowd of old and young women.
"How are you? This is your first time on the show," Ellen said sitting down also.
"I'm great. Thanks for having me. How are you?"
"I'm great, too. I didn't know that you were from New Orleans."
"Yeah, everyone thinks I'm from Texas because we moved there because of Katrina."
"Can you believe it's been thirteen years?"
"It's crazy how the city is still affected so much by it."
"Were you there during the storm?"
"No, we left the day before the storm hit."
"Wow," she said, "So how's everything going? How's the life of an undefeated champ?"
"Everything is actually really great right now."
"Would Normani have anything to do with that?" Ellen asked and Y/N covered her face blushing. I looked over at her and she was blushing.
"Maybe," she said quietly.
"Are you two dating?"
"No, we're just friends."
"Just friends? Not with the way you look at her."
"Come on, Ellen. You're making me sweat."
"Do we have pictures of them?" Ellen asked and pictures of Y/N and I at her party and Six Flags popped up on the screen. Y/N buried her face in her hands and even her ears turned red.
