Your POV
"Babe, get up. We're going shopping for a new bed," Normani said planting kisses on my face. I pushed her face away from me and turned over.
"Baby, get up. Now!" she stated firmly. I groaned and got up.
"Go get ready. You got twenty minutes," She said and walked out of the room. I smacked my teeth and threw the covers off of my body. I got ready and went downstairs to see Normani standing by the door.
"Where's Bri and Bella?" I asked putting on a hat.
"By your grandmother. They're baking cakes and cookies," she replied twirling her keys around her finger.
"You're driving?" I asked and she nodded.
"Yes, now lets go," she said opening the door and walked out. I followed behind her and I looked the door before I got into her car.
"I'm hungry," I told her as I let the seat back.
"We'll stop for lunch after we get a new bed," she replied.
"What are we gonna do with the old bed, Mani?" I asked closing my eyes.
"I don't know... We can put it in the empty guest room," she replied.
"Alright," I said trying not to fall asleep, but I ended up falling asleep anyways. After about an hour of driving, we were finally there. Normani shook me awake making me grab her hands and move them gently.
"No need for the attitude," she mumbled getting out of the car. I got out and walked fast to catch up to her. She locked her car without even looking back. I caught up to her and opened the door for her. We walked in and were approached by someone.
"Hi, I'm Joshua. How may I help you today?" he asked.
"We're looking to get a California King bed and and the bed frame. Not one with post at the foot of the bed because we have a extremely clumsy three year old daughter, who will find a way to run directly into it," I told him.
"I think we have something," he said chuckling and signaled for us to follow behind him. I grabbed Normani's hand and we walked together. I let Normani pick the frame, but I picked out the mattress. They were going to deliver it at four. Which meant I was gonna spend the rest of my day taking the bed apart and then putting the new one together.
"We need to pick out bedding," Normani said in a monotone voice as we walked out of the building. I took the keys out of her hand and picked her up. She squealed and laughed.
"Put me down," she said trying to still be mad at me.
"Give me a kiss and I might put you down," I told her and she pecked my lips twice. I put her down and gave her back her keys before getting in the car.
"I want all black bedding," I told her.
"We're getting whatever I want," she told me.
"Khalil asked if we wanted to go out with him and Ellis for lunch in an hour," I said to her and she nodded.
"Let's get this bedding," she said as she pulled off.
"What time are we picking the girls up?" I asked her.
"At one," she replied. We got the bedding, new pillows for us and for the girls and met Khalil and Ellis at some restaurant they had recommended.
"It looks like she dragged you out of the house," Ellis said to me jokingly.
"That's because she did," I replied letting Normani sit down in the booth first.
"How was bed shopping?"
