Your POV

"I wan' that one, mommy," Bella said pointing to the variety of ornaments. I threw them in the shopping cart and picked out some other ones.

"Babe, do you want an angel or star to top the tree?" Normani asked holding two of them up.

"Neither, I already have one at the house," I replied. She pouted and put them back. She started to push the shopping cart as we looked for more decorations.

"We need candy canes," Bri said excitedly and put some in the cart making Bella cheer. I smiled at the two before walking away to grab some tinsel and lights.

"You have a beautiful family. Are you married?" an older gentleman with his wife asked Normani.

"Thank you so much and no," she replied with a big smile on her face.

"Don't rush it, but you feel like you need to marry her tomorrow. Do it," he replied, "I hope your holiday season is filled with love and happiness." The couple walked away leaving Normani with a big smile on her face looking over at the younger girls that were looking for matching Christmas pajamas.

"What's with the big smile on your face?" I asked putting the items into the cart.

"This older couple just said that we have a beautiful family," she replied looking at me and looking over at the girls, who were inseparable.

"Was that all that was said?" I asked already knowing it wasn't.

"He asked if we were married. I told him no, then he said not to rush it, but if it feels like I need to marry you tomorrow. Then do it," she replied resting her head on my chest not taking her eyes off of Bri and Bella, "look at how beautiful and loving they are. I'll never understand why their parents were so terrible to them. I'm happy they have you. I'm happy I have you."

"Don't start being all sappy on me, baby," I said jokingly making her giggle cutely and playfully hit me.

"I'm kidding. Im happy to have you and my baby girls, too. Come on, let's go home to put this damn tree up," I said and pecked her lips.

"Come on, girls. Let's go home," I told the two and they ran over to me. Bella jumped in my arms while Bri walked along side of Normani.

"Mommy, w'at do you wan' for C'ris'mas?" Bella asked.

"I want. The one thing I want for Christmas is for you and Bri to be happy," I replied giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"I am 'appy, mommy. I 'ave you, Mani, Bri, nana, mawmaw, Mauri, 'rmand, O'en an' K'alil. I more 'han 'appy, mommy," Bella said resting her hand on my cheek. The cashier ran everything up and Bri put the bags in the cart. Normani sneakingly tried to get her card out, but I had Apple Pay. I paid making her whine.

"You two have one of the most beautiful families I have ever seen," an elderly woman in line told us as she looked at us with adoration in her eyes.

"Thank you," I replied with a smile on my face.

"A beautiful girlfriend with two beautiful daughters. You are very lucky," she replied.

"Trust me. I know," I replied and pushed Bella's face away from me playfully as she tried to kiss me.

"Mommy let me give you kissy," Bella whined. I let her give me a kiss as I said goodbye to the woman. I even paid for her groceries before leaving.

"Baby, put Bella in her seat. I'll handle the bags," I told her. They got in the car while I put the bags away. I let the trunk down and got in the truck.
