Chapter 27: Love, X.

VIP waiting room above.

Liam and I rush into the hospital and we see everyone with worried looks on their faces.

Emily runs over to me and pulls me in a bone crashing hug then both start crying. "They're going to be okay," Emily assures through her tears.

I pull away from the hug and I nod my head yes. I wipe my tears and take a seat beside Liam. He instantly wraps his arms around my shoulders and kisses my forehead.

Immediately he told me what happened, we both packed our bags and flew back to Bluefall as fast as we could. We don't know how it happened or why Nicole and Jasmine are both unconscious.

It has been nine hours and none of them have woken up.

"So what really happened, guys?" Liam asks.

We are now sitting in a VIP waiting area at the hospital. Everyone looks exhausted and worried.

"So, um Tyler and I were on our way to Nicole's house and we literally saw both of them lying on the street close to the Starbucks near the house," Colton says.

Jasmine's house also isn't far from Nicole's house.

My heartbeat races. Who hurts them then? Did they drink something?

"We both panicked and froze at the stop. After getting my head straight, I called the police and Colton called his mum. I carried Nicole to the car while he carried Jasmine and we drove them here as fast as we could." Tyler elaborates.

Colton's mum is one of the best doctors in the country and the hospital we are now is hers.

"So you guys don't know how it actually happened to them?" Liam raises his eyebrow.

"That's the interesting and scariest part." Rob folds his hands and everyone nods.

Liam and I look at them in confusion.

Colton who has his arms around Emily gives a phone to Ian and he hands it to Liam.

I instantly recognize the phone as Jasmine's.
There's a message so I read it and gasp.

Unknown: You can't escape me, Jasmine Johnson. I will find you wherever you are.

Oh my God! Jasmine also receives messages from X which means she's one of the other three rich kids.

"Jasmine is one of us?" Liam asks.

They all nod their heads and Jacob speaks.

"Yes, that's the interesting part. Check out the scary part." He says, giving Nicole's phone to Liam.

860-961-9957: Hey! It's Jasmine. Let's hang out at Starbucks.

Then Nicole replied, Hey! Jas, when did you change your number? And sure, what time?

860-961-9957: 7:00pm

"But this is not X's number," I say, giving Nicole's phone back to Jacob.

Well, I wouldn't even know because X hides his/her number every time he/she sends a message.

"Yes, but the same number messaged Jasmine asking her to meet at Starbucks and look at what happened to both of them AT STARBUCKS." Ian says. "I mean near Starbucks, whatever." He corrects himself.
