Location: M.E.C.H. Hidden BaseWhite. She hated that color. No, she despised it whether she knew what the emotion was or not. She couldn't deny the way it made her fists clench, her brain processing the looming torture that it brought her. The walls were bare as they always were, her arms were forced in front of her. They were cuffed together attached to the shackles around her ankles by an equally heavy chain. She knew if she were anyone else the weight of them would have stopped her long ago.
The fluorescent lighting burned her eyes, but her expression remained stoic as she was led down the hall. The only sound that echoed throughout the hall were her chains rattling together and clanging against her metal prosthetics. It had been their most pleasurable experiment, not to her no she hated it all, it was more pleasurable to those who had inflicted the pain upon her. Replacing more and more of her with machines, until she herself didn't know which part of her was human anymore. If she could even call herself human anymore, she surely didn't feel as if she was. However, did she even know what it was like to be human? She couldn't remember anything beyond the blinding white walls, nothing before the pain that seized up her nerves whenever she thought about it.
Though it never did matter what she happened to think, whether human or machine she wasn't worth the title. She was only Subject 027, the only name, the only title she would ever be worthy of. At least to those who kept her here, the doctors that tested on her. Who couldn't care less about her cries of distress? Only an experiment, a lab rat, and as those thoughts ran through her head she couldn't help but ball her hands into fists.
Soon enough the guards that had been assigned to take her to the lab were forced to disband as they arrived. Only two remained as one swiped their ID card through the identification panel on the wall. They punched in a series of numbers, before a green light emitted from the lock, signaling that the door was successfully unlocked.
The other guard, who had remained standing behind her roughly pushed her forward. She stumbled over her feet, the left heavier than the other had left her ability to balance harder to maintain than before. However, she wasn't given the chance to fall when she was grabbed by the back of her shirt. Her flesh leg jerked forward in response, straining against the shackle around them. She spent the rest of the walk trying to hide her slight limp, who knew what they would do if she happened to walk too slowly.
"Finally you've arrived! Bring her in here." Various scientists scurried around the room, their pristine white lab coats made her anger towards the color spike. It was everywhere, and it only brought memories she didn't want to remember. She was escorted into the all to familiar room, the one way windows tinted on her side. Though she didn't need to see through them to know there were already people lined up outside them watching. She was forced to stop in front of the familiar metal bed.
The chains were removed, and mindlessly as if it were routine she allowed herself to be ushered onto the bed and then her wrists and ankles were being tied down to the table. All she could do was stare up into the blinding light shining down on her. She couldn't see the faces of those scurrying around her, but she could feel hands grazing the pieces of her that were still flesh and then something ever so gently piercing her skin.
Then there was burning, a fire igniting within her and it all started at the very tip of the needle embedded into her arm. It spread through her veins coursing through her body on hyperdrive. Someone was yelling, but she couldn't make anything out over the ear-piercing screaming and it took her a while to figure out that the screaming was her. Then feeling as though molten magma had been personally injected into her bloodstream she found herself being enveloped into the darkness.
