"Please don't cry," Breakdown pleaded as he raised a hand to wipe away the tears running down your cheeks. You couldn't help but to step back as you looked at him.
"You're breaking my heart, it's the only thing I can do." Your voice wavered as you spoke, and Breakdown's arm returned to his side as he watched you. Things were getting dangerous, and he himself had no idea if he would be returning after this mission. Yet that came with each mission he was continued to be sent on, it started with just an optic but it could only escalate from there. That's how the world worked, things always got worse, "You have to come back, I don't like when you say things like that."
"I'll come back, so wait for me." He pulled you close, placing a kiss on you're forehead before his holoform flickered out leaving you standing alone in the dark and empty room.
