“Jack don’t you dare fucking laugh at me!” I whined, throwing my boxers at my boyfriend who had made himself comfortable lounging on my bed while he aimlessly played on his phone. We were leaving for tour today and the bus was due to pick us up in ten minutes and only now was I getting around to packing my bags.

“Well it’s not my fault you should have packed yesterday.” Jack didn’t even look up from his phone as he replied. My room was a complete mess from where I was throwing random clothes everywhere in the hopes that at least some of them where landing even remotely close to my suitcase.

“You know you could actually help me, rather than just lying there laughing at me. Besides it’s actually your fault I’m in this mess anyway,” I replied as I made my way into the bathroom to collect everything I needed.

“Yeah? How’d you work that one out?”

“You’re the ass that decided to start it yesterday, it’s not my fault I had a promise to keep,” I shrugged. “Help me!”

“But that’s not as fun as watching you run around trying to get ready on time,” my boyfriend pouted.

“I’m sure it’s not. But the sooner I finish, the sooner I can put my attention to something else. Someone else,” I whispered in his ear as I crossed the room and sat on his lap, straddling his hips.

“Oh yeah?” He replied wrapping his arms around my hips letting his hands rest on my ass as he pulled me in for a kiss.

“Mmm, it’s just a shame that you’re too busy laughing at me,” I replied ghosting my lips over his before letting out a small sigh and getting up of the bed and continuing chucking clothes into the open bags on the floor, not caring if it was neat and folded or not.

“Are you done yet?” Jack started to whine.

“No Jack. But of you want to help any time then please feel free to stop doing nothing and help me please and thank you.”

Jack moaned like a bitch as he eventually managed to drag his ass out of my bed and began to help me move my possessions from the pile on the floor and into my suitcase. We had just finished closing the last bag when we hear d the bus pulling outside.

“Ready?” Jack grinned. I nodded, pulling him towards me. I wrapped my arms around his neck, tangling my hands in his hair as I pressed my lips against his.

“Mmm, two months on the road with my boyfriend and my best friends, playing music. What more could I possibly want?”

“A condom maybe?” I snapped my head up at the new voice to find Zack leaning against the door with one of my bags in his hands.

“Hey bro,” Jack greeted him cheerfully.

“Yeah hey, it’s still weird watching you two do that,” Zack mumbled. “You ready?”

“So stop watching,” I muttered as I picked up my remaining bags and followed Jack and Zack out of the house. When I stepped outside I couldn’t help but stare at the big shiny bus that was waiting for us. It was an improvement to what we were used to as before we were just using a small cramped van to get us from venue to venue, but now that we were getting more and more popular we were finally able to get a proper tour bus. I stumbled up the steps, tripping over my own two feet as usual and almost face palming the floor, but Matt caught me just before I could hurt myself.

“Matty!” I called giving him a hug after I had recovered.

“Lexy!” He called back just as eagerly almost crushing me with his arms.

“Could you at least let the rest of us get onto the bus?” Jack pouted as he prodded me in the sides letting me know that he was still standing on the steps behind us.

“Oh yeah, sure.” We both pulled away from the hug and moved further onto the bus. I made a beeline for the bunks while Matt greeted Jack with the same bone crushing hug, while I made a claim on the bunk I wanted by throwing my bags on the bed. Jack joined me, making me jump as he wrapped his arms around my waist from behind and resting his head on my shoulders, leaning into my neck and kissing the skin behind my ear. I let out a breathy sigh as I turned around to kiss him properly. Jack dumped his stuff in the bunk opposite mine and we made our way to the back lounge keeping our lips connected the whole time.

“No sex on the bus!” Matt call out as he watched us disappear behind the door.

“Dammit Matt you’re no fun anymore! What happened? You were cool once,” I pouted as I finally pulled away.

“Hey I’m still cool, but I don’t particularly feel like listening to my two best friends have sex in the next room. Besides we still have to go and pick up Rian.” With that, the bus driver started the engine and we started moving as we headed to the other side of town to collect our drummer
