~Jack POV~

The first week of tour passed quickly as we were playing shows every day without a break. It was tiring, but we had the day off tomorrow and to celebrate the start of a new tour we were having a party tonight with the other bands.

“Hey Lexy,” I stated as he flopped down on the couch next to me. I put my phone down, instead choosing to wrap my arms around Alex and plant soft kisses on his neck.

“Hey Jack,” he replied, but his voice sounded slightly off. Distant.

“Are you okay?” I asked.

“Fine.”

“Now look me in the eyes and tell me that.”

Alex turned around so he was sat sideways on the couch facing me.

“Jack, I’m fine.” He smiled, but after knowing him for so long and so well, I could see that his smile wasn’t sincere. He didn’t mean it and we both knew it.

“Lex what’s wrong?”

“Nothing.”

“We both know that’s not true. Talk to me Lex, Tell me what’s going on.” I wrapped my arms around his waist and leaned down, resting my forehead against his.

“It’s nothing. I’m fine Jack,” He smiled again before softly pressing his lips against mine.

“I’m okay Jack I…”

“Don’t you dare even finish that sentence! You don’t have to talk to me, just don’t lie to me.”

“I’m okay Jack, I’m just thinking about things. It’s okay.”

“You don’t have to do this alone.”

“I know Jay.” He leaned in and kissed me again.

“Get ready guys you’re on in half an hour,” Matt informed us.

--

“Thank you New York, you were great. We were fake. It’s nothing personal. Lots of love and we’ll see you next time,” Alex called into the microphone.

“Faggot!” Someone called out from the crowd. Alex tried not to react to it, but I could see the tears starting to form in his eyes. I walked over to my boyfriend and kissed him in front of everyone. He smiled into it and kissed me back, before I pulled away and walked over to the microphone.

“I don’t like faggots. They are gross and they don’t taste very nice. Alex on the other hand tastes nothing like that. He’s not a faggot!” I called out, looking over at him and giving him my signature grin before walking off stage.

We had just finished playing our set and I was slightly out of breath, covered in a layer of sweat and in desperate need of a shower. I handed my guitar over to our tech and jumped on Alex’s back the second he handed over his guitar.

“You were great baby,” I whispered in his ear.

“You weren’t so bad yourself,” He replied leaning up and kissing my chin.

“Does anyone know where the showers are?” Rian asked loudly not speaking directly to anyone in particular.

“Next floor, turn left at the end of the corridor, third door on the right, turn right then the second door on your left,” Matt called back.

“Matt you’re my hero, but can you repeat that a bit slower so I can write that down?” Rian replied.

“I’m sending Zack with a map.”

“You’re my favorite Matt!”

“I’m your only Matt,” I heard him mutter under his breath.

“C’mon, I want to have a hot shower this time,” Alex murmured as he started to follow Matt’s directions to the showers.

“I didn’t know it would be this easy to get you into the shower.” I wrapped my arms around his neck tighter as he shifted me up his back and repositioned his arms so they were comfortably supporting my legs.

“Well you could have just asked. That way you wouldn’t have to share with Rian and Zack.”

“Ew weird. Stop. Mental images. No.”

“You started it.”

“You made it weird.” Alex went off to collect our towels before we quickly showered.

I was just pulling on my pants when Rian appeared in the doorway.

“There’s a party on one of the other bands bus’s if you wanted to join.” He informed us.

“Who’s?”

“I’m not sure. I think it might be Pierce’s but you’ll know when you get there.”

“Okay cool. We’ll be there in a bit,” I replied.

“Use a condom,” Rian rolled his eyes before walking away. I finished getting dressed before Alex and I followed Rian towards the busses.

The moment we stepped outside the venue we could hear music blaring so we traced it back to the source to see it was indeed Pierce The Veil’s bus. Everyone else was here already so I grabbed a couple of drinks for Alex and I while he wandered around and said hello to everyone.

--

I was wasted.

I had lost sight of Alex a little while ago and I didn’t know where he had gone. I think he had told me he was gonna go pee but I couldn’t remember. I wandered around to see if I could see him, but he wasn’t anywhere to be seen.

“Hey Jack,” Vic mumbled as he stumbled over to me.

“Whassup?” I slurred.

“Have you seen Jaime? I need to ask him something.” He asked.

“I think he might be outside with Zack and Tino,” I replied. “Hey have you seen Alex?” I asked as I followed Vic out. Fresh air sounded good right about now.

“Err no I haven’t. Maybe he went back to your bus?”

“Maybe.”

“Jack!” Tino and Phil called loudly. I went over to greet them. I think they were in a band called Of Mice And Men. Was that what it was? It was something like that if it wasn’t.

“Hey guys.”

“Cashby’s kissing again.” I looked at them confused as I didn’t recognize the name, so they pointed around the corner of the bus and started giggling, so I looked and saw their singer and guitarist making out like there was no tomorrow.

“Get a room!” I called out loudly and they broke apart, quickly getting up and heading back towards what I imagined was their own bus.

“Don’t forget to use a condom!” Phil shouted from behind me. I started talking to Tino and Zack, who was sat on the floor leaning against the bus, for a while and I was just heading back into the bus to get another drink when Rian came rushing up to me.

“Jack I’ve been looking for you for ages, where’ve you been?”

“Here and there,” I shrugged.

“We’ve got a problem,” he told me.

“What kind of problem?”

“Alex.”
