SCARLET'S POV

I can't believe I agreed to do this. I walk around Earth in search of someone. My Lord did not tell me who I was looking for, in fact he told me that I wouldn't be able to recognize him. Who is him? I look at my gray hair. This shit is bland. I miss my bright red hair. I bump into a girl with bright yellow hair. I recognize her immediately, Genesis. "Excuse you!" She yelled and then looked at me when I didn't apologize to her. Her eyebrows shot up, as she looked at me. "Do I know you?" I shook my head 'no' and say, "Now get out of my way." She grabbed my arm and yanked me. "What color is my hair?" Fuck. I can't lie to her, because I honestly don't know how humans see her hair as. Every Earth-Roamer is different. "Get the fuck off of me." I yank my arm out of her grasp and ran. She runs close behind me, but I make a quick turn and run right into someone which causes both of us to fall. I look up to find her gone, and I turn my head to look at the person I ran into.

Fuck he is cute. He had gray hair with dark hazel eyes. Let's take a minute to analyze that jawline. Holy shit. He was carved by the Dark Lord, himself, or something. No way someone from Heaven can look like that. He started laughing, and I looked at him confused, but soon realized that I have been on top of him and staring at him for awhile. I felt my cheeks heat up as I got off. "Sorry." I whispered. I am not good with apologies, because I am usually never in the wrong. He stood up and wiped his joggers and his t shirt off. He smiled at me, "It is okay. As long as you are okay?" I smile some and could feel myself blush. Fuck, I hate showing weakness. I cough and say, "Yeah, I am fine." He sent me another smile. "I am glad. I am Ethan, you?" He held out his hand for me to shake, and I grabbed his hand and  I was engulfed by a cold feeling. "I am Scarlet. Your hands are freezing cold." I said as I started to rub my hands to warm them back up. I have never actually felt the cold before. Humans must get really cold. His eyebrows shot up, "I am so sorry. I am just naturally cold. I should work on it." I smirked at him. I walked up to him and whispered in his ear, "I could warm your hands up."

He blinked a couple times and his cheeks filled with color. I backed up and smirked at him, "I am kidding." Not really. "Relax. Well, it was nice to meet you. I am going to go." He smiled and waved 'goodbye' to me. "Nice meeting you, Scarlet. I hope I am fortunate enough to see you again." I blushed as he started walking away. I watch him, and damn he is thicc. I shake my head and turn back around and I am faced with Genesis. She started tsking, "Scarlet, Scarlet, Scarlet. I should have known it was you." I look at her confused, "Who are you?" She got into my face, "Cut the shit. I heard you tell gray haired boy who you were. So, tell me. Why are you on Earth? More importantly, why is your hair gray?" I sighed, "I can not tell you, but you have to act like you don't know me. The Dark Lord said for me to tell anyone. So, let me go. Before he punishes both of us for talking to each other." She looked me up and down, but nodded. I walked past her and let out a slow breath. I have to find this person fast, because I staying camouflaged is not working out.
