goodbye laura

davids pov:

"laura stop!" i shouted as i continued running after her. she didn't stop running, she just kept going. 

"laura please!" i ran faster and faster coming closer and closer to the woman i loved. i was so close to her, i could almost grab her jacket that hung on her waist. but then she began slowing down, and i did too. she stopped completely, nearly out of breath. i walked up next to her, panting. laura was looking out at the view, the sunset was gorgeous as we stood at the top of the cliff. she turned to face me, tears resting on her cheeks.

she grabbed me and kissed me, hard and strong. she held her hands onto my face as i had my arms wrapped around her, trying to get all of  her. she softly pulled away and stepped back.

"i love you so much david." she said, tears welling up in her eyes.

"i love you too laura. you never forget that." i said. she stepped back a couple steps.

"take care of sean please. tell him he's my angel and i love him." i looked at her confused. 

"laura what do you me-" and then she started running, and then she fell. a long way down. i ran to the edge and looked down, watching the woman i loved with all of my heart fall to her death. 

i stood there, and then i fell to my knees and i sobbed. my heart felt like it was going to explode and i screamed. 

laura is gone.
