Third person POV

"Were losing him!" A doctor yelled. Multiple surgeons stood around Y/N, attempting to stop the damage from the sword he took to the gut.

"Shit!" The machine for his heartbeat flatlined.

"Defibs!" A doctor yelled. A nurse handed him a pair.

The doctor quickly placed the defibs on his chest, pressing the buttons. Y/N's chest jumped. The machine beeped twice.

"Again!" The doctor hit the button again, sending electricity through the man. The machine finally beeped again, signifying his life. Blood covered the doctor's hands and Y/N's abdomen.

"He's stable!" Another one said. The doctor operating on Y/N sighed and looked at the wounds. Blood seeped out of an entrance an exit wound through his abdomen.

Y/N POV
--Flashback--

The bull faunus sliced my hand clean off with his red blade. I screamed in pain, dropping my machete. He picked me up by the collar of my shirt, the hot flames from my house behind me.

"This, is where you die." He said. He kicked me into the fire of my house, the flames searing my chest and neck.

Through the flames, I saw the same man slice the throat of my sister.

--Flashback End--

My eyes shut open. My abdomen hurt like hell, a blinding light above me.

"He's awake!" I heard a shrill voice yell. I saw Ruby and Yang standing above me. I was in some sort of hospital room, making me remember my chase after Roman.

"OhmygodwethoghtyouweredeadandsodidIandIwasworriedtoo!" Ruby yelled.

(Oh my god we thought you were dead and so did I and I was worried too)

I groaned as I sat up, the pain shooting through my body like lightning. Yang leaned against the wall while Ruby sat in the chair next to me.

"Here, take these." Ruby handed me a small, brown paper bag. I reluctantly took it. The bag contained ... cookies?

"I made them. Oh! Also, we chased Roman! Him and henchman got away though." Ruby pouted.

"Yeah. Him and his ice cream girl got away." Yang said angrily. My mind clicked.

"Describe her." I demanded.

"Uhh, she had a brown left eye, a pink right one, and her hair was pink and brown." Yang described. It couldn't be.

"Did she use an umbrella?" I asked coldly.

"Umm, yeah. Wait, how did you know that?"

"That's my sister."

--Time Skip--

I sat in Ozpin's office. He paced around with his cane in hand.

"So this girl is your sister?" He asked.

"Yes."

"So, how did you lose touch with her?" He asked me.

The memories flashed through my head. Painful memories.

"I'm not speaking about that." Ozpin sighed.

"Very well. You may leave."

I got up and left from the room, entering the elevator and pressing the button for the first floor.

Blood seeped through the bandage over my stomach. I didn't care.

The best thing I knew I was burning all over again. Flames engulfed the elevator, the door, blocking me out. All I saw was flames before I blacked out.

--Time Skip--

My head hurt like hell. I slowly opened my eyes. I was lying on the floor of the elevator. The flames flashed through my head.

"Shit." I stood, shaking. I held my head, the pain still echoing through. I noticed my bandage was bleeding more than it has.

I pushed the button to open the doors, revealing the courtyard outside if the CCT. I limped out and headed straight for the dorms. I'm going to make a plan.

"Hey Y/N!"  A high voice behind me shrieked. I turned around to see Ruby and the Bitch Schnee.

"What?" I asked.

"Uh, nothing. Actually we wanted to wait for you, since ... you know ... Ozpin takes kind if forever and..." Ruby trailed off. The Bitch smiled next to her.

Weiss POV

I scanned through the old files from the company. Here was one specific file up as looking for.

My eyes stopped as I read the title of the very last file. "Barvechos mine." I tapped the file and what looked like a report showed up.

Today, we had more fodder go down into the mines. Our labor forces are costing us little money to extract the precious dust.
One of the many faults if the mine, which I had ignored of course, was the elevator. Apparently it was bound to fall, according to one of the elevator operators, Y/N L/N. He's thirteen, and is a hard worker. I'm glad I don't have to pay him more than a dollar a day.
These workers are worthless pieces of shit who have jobs at my mines, no matter the conditions or pay.

-Jacques Schnee

I couldn't believe it. My father knew about everything. I felt ... horrible. About everything he has been through, and everything my family has done to him. It made sense, why he hated me so much.

I was going to regret my decision, but I had to do this. I tapped on my sister's number on my scroll. It rang for a few minutes, but she eventually picked up.

"Weiss, I did not expect you to call me." She answered.

"I didn't either. I need a favor."

"A favor? I don't have time for such childish things."

"It's ... important. I need one thing."

"Fine. What is it?" She asked.

"Do you have any artificial hands? Like left hands?" I asked her.

"Why do you need one?" Her voice was colder than usual.

"There's this boy here at Beacon. He's ... been through a lot, and is missing his left hand. He was a victim at Barvechos mine four years back." I explained.

"I see. I will ask the General about this."

"Thank you!"

"I will see you soon." Winter hung up after that.

A/N: Badda Bing Badda Boom. It's been a while. Well, I've had school and shit, so I've been busy. I'll try to update as fast as I can.

Peace
