Third person POV

Ozpin paced around his office, deep in thought. Goodwitch stood, leaning on the desk.

"How could he have come back to life? Qrow found the reports, and he had no heartbeat nor brain activity for five hours."

Ozpin just stared out the window.

"I may know why." Ozpin finally spoke.

"A very longtime ago, I had a brother." Ozpin said.

"And?" Goodwitch asked.

"His name was Olivier. He was similar to me. Whenever my current body died, I would find a new one. Him, on the other hand, resurrected that body."

"So, it could be connected with Y/N how?"

"I thought he was killed for good, until now. I believe his power has manifested itself within Y/N, who is very much like Olivier was."

"Wait, so Y/N is equal to you in power?"

"Yes. You saw the wounds. Those shots would have killed anyone without their aura to protect them."

"You're right."

Right then, Qrow Brawnwen half walked and half stumbled through the elevator door. He took another swig of his ever present flask and approached Ozpin and Goodwitch.

"Guys, Y/N is Ozpin's brother!" He said to the two.

"You are a little late, Qrow." Ozpin stated, and chuckled.

"Wait, you told him about your brother?" Goodwitch asked. Ozpin just took a sip from his mug.

"Never mind." Goodwitch said.

"Look, I have no idea how Olivier's power is in Y/N, but it has."

"I'll keep watch on him." Qrow offered.

"Get right on it." Ozpin said, taking another sip.

Ruby POV

I couldn't believe it still. Y/N was still alive and standing in front of me. Well, he was in the bathroom.

"Ah, Jesus!" I heard him say.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

"Yep, just this shit hurts." I heard what sounded like metal falling and hitting the sink. Then I heard another one.

"What are you doing?" I asked him.

He walked out of the bathroom, buttoning up his shirt.

"Getting those slugs out of me." He explained.

"Oh."

"Hey, I'm not sure what I was like before I died. Could you help me with that?" He asked. His voice sounded slightly different.
A/N: Imagine a slight New York City accent.

"Uhh, sure. You were quiet, and you were really sad."

"Really? All I remember is shooting people."

I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around him. To my surprise, he hugged me back. For that moment, we just stood there silently, my face turning a red that I could only imagine was like ketchup.

"I gotta go do something. I'll be back later, then we can spend some more time together."

Third person POV

"Oh shit! I thought you was dead!" A man yelled. He quickly grabbed his pistol and picked up his phone, calling his buddies.

Y/N stood at the front of the alleyway, aiming his shotgun.

From the other end of the alley, men in hoodies armed with pistols ran to support their friend.

"Guess I'm pretty notorious." Y/N said.

Y/N fired, emptying a shell into one of the enemies. He pumped the gun, and fired again, barely missing as they took cover.

Earlier that day

Y/N sat a familiar bar, downing his drink.

The owner, Junior decided to show up, and walked over to Y/N.

"Well, I heard you were dead." Junior stated.

"Well, I'm not. And I need something." Y/N looked at Junior.

"Look kid, this time it'll cost ya."

"Whatever. Tell me who I was chasing down."

"Anyone who was connected to the White Fang. I've got a list, but for a price."

"What's that price?" Y/N asked. He leaned against the bar.

Junior just chuckled.

"Well shit." Y/N said to himself. The price was not an easy one. He stood atop a building, binoculars out.

He scanned for a man in a black business suit, with a bushy gray beard and a scar over his left eye.

Y/N was glad it wasn't a hit, only a warning shot, to the leg. The sniper rifle sat in position next to him, bipod out.

"Found you." Y/N muttered to himself. He spotted the man, and got into position with the sniper.

The crosshair leveled itself over the man's leg, right below the knee.

Y/N slowly squeezed the trigger, and the shot fired. A .338 caliber round split through the man's leg, sending him to the ground.

"It's done." Y/N said into a radio strapped to his chest.

"Here ya go kid." Junior tossed a scroll to Y/N.

"It's a burner. On there you will find every criminal in the city connected to the Fangs. Have fun."

"I will." Y/N joked. One name at the top of the list stood out: Roman Torchwick
