Y/N POV
I awoke on my bed, the room pitch black. My thoughts were about Neo. She couldn't be alive, yet she was.
I looked at my clock. 12:24. My dark thoughts gnawed at my brain like a starved dog with a scrap of meat.
I swung my legs over and stood quietly, the rest of my team sleeping still. I limped quietly to the door and exited, stepping out into the hall. I was still dressed in my armor and weapons.
I stepped onto the roof, staring out into the cloudy night sky. The shattered moon still peeked through the clouds.
My thoughts were erratic and more violent that before. I first thought of bringing my gun to myself and pulling the trigger. Then to me watching the life leave the eyes of the White Fang soldiers I've killed.
I sat down, the cold biting at me.
"What are you doing?" I heard a high voice say behind me. I turned and saw Ruby. She was dressed in her pajamas.
"Nothing." I answered.
"Uh, okay. I saw you leave your room and I followed you." She said.
"Why?" I asked coldly.
"I was wondering why you left, and you're always alone."
"I prefer it that way." I stared at the few stars that poked out from the dark clouds.
"Wanna just talk?" Her voice sounded slightly worried.
"No." I said.
"Well, I'm here." A hint of stubbornness was in her voice.
Ruby came over and sat down next to me, visibly shivering.
I sighed and too off my strap holding my machete sheath and unstrapled my armor. I took off my hoodie and plopped it next to Ruby.
"Wear it." I stated bluntly.
"But won't you be cold?" She looked worried.
"No."
"Okay." Ruby proceeded to put the hoodie on. It was far to big fit her, but she now looked warm.
"Thanks."
I didn't answer. My long sleeve shirt underneath was good enough.
I looked over at Ruby. My she had her arms wrapped around her and the hood covered a good part of her face. The bottom of the hoodie also reached her thighs, so she curled up in it. Her face also had a tint of red on her cheeks, like her hair.
Another dark thought flashed through my head. And another. I rubbed my eyes and looked over at Ruby again. Her eyes were closed and she had started to lean over to me.
My left wrist hurt again. And so did my stab wound. My aura had just barely repaired itself, as years of hurt damaged my developing aura beyond repair.
I ignored the pain, which had worsened recently. To get my mind of the pain, I thought of a plan to kill the bull faunus that took my hand and sister.
My mind started to devise a plan. I needed to find where the White Fang holds their rallies and where the recruit new soldiers and cannon fodder.
Once that is done, I can rig the place with explosives, home made ones.
Then boom, no more White Fang. I could also destroy their technology in the process, as I heard they stole some of the Atlesian's weaponry.
I felt something touch my shoulder, and looked over to see Ruby, dead asleep in my hoodie, and her head shifted onto my shoulder.
I didn't know what to do at this point.

Ruby's POV
My eyes slowly drifted open, the sunlight hitting my face. I was warm and curled up into a ball. My head was on something, and I looked to see Y/N, staring into the distance.
I quickly sat up, the heat rushing to my cheeks. I was still curled up in his gray hoodie.
"Uhh, hi." I said.
"Hi." He repeated back to me.
"Were you sitting like that the whole night?" I asked him. His right arm held him up and his legs were splayed out in front of him.
"Yes." He still didn't move.
"Oh, uh... sorry." I said sheepishly.
"For what?" He asked, obviously confused. Now he looked at me. His different colored eyes sparkled.
"For uhh ... I, uh. Sorry for keeping you awake?" That sounded so cringeworthy. I mentally called myself out.
"I couldn't sleep anyways." He stated.
"You uhh, don't sleep much do you?" I asked. I was worried. From what I heard from my adopted brother, Saber, he was barely in their room and when he was he just sat and did nothing.
"I've never slept well." I could see the dark rings around his eyes, and how the he sometimes seem really tired when I did see him.
"Do you want to get help? I know there are some people that can-"
"No." He cut me off.
"Why?" I was confused now. I tilted my head sideways a small bit.
"I don't need help." His voice was more colder.
"But why? Why do you want to refuse help that's easy to get?" I questioned him.
"Reasons." He simply stated.
"Ugh. You're not helping!" I squealed.
"Look, go back to your team. It's Saturday." He told me. I could see a bit of facial hair starting to grow when he looked at me.
I nodded and stood. His hoodie drooping down past my hands and waist.
"Do you want this back?" I asked.
"No. Keep it."
"Uhh, okay. Goodbye Y/N!" I waved and started to leave.
"Goodbye, Ruby." I heard him say before I left.

I stepped into my teams room, greeted by a Blake reading her book and Weiss doing work. On a weekend. Ugh, what a party pooper.
"Where were you?" Weiss asked me.
"Uhh, I was ... with ... no one?" I said.
"That's not true! Who's hoodie is this?" She asked me. She looked at the worn outside.
"Uhh, fine. It's Y/N's." I admitted.
"Wow." Blake said.
I looked toward Weiss' desk, and saw homework and a robotic hand.
"I'll let this one slide. Next time you're not back by 9 I'm calling the police." Weiss turned back to her homework.
My knees felt like jelly.
A/N: Aaaayyyyyg I got stuff done for once. I'm back baby. Back!!!
