Third POV
Tom and Severus finally saw where Hadrian was coming from. Hadrian didn't want his name or lineage to change opinions or gain power. With this realisation they backed down only after Hadrian agreed to reveal it before the end of the school year.
Last Draco and Hadrian walked back to their dorm Draco was lost in thought. He knew that Dumb-as-a-door was starting to get very suspicious of Hadrian. Draco was noticing all the little stares he had been giving Hadrian. Not only was he staring but he had started to sit in on classes. Seeing as Hadrian had quickly overthrown Hermione in all classes and became the new top of class, Draco could see why dumb-as-a-door was getting worried.
But Hadrian wasn't worried about that, No Hadrian was worried about something completely inconsequential. Draco and Hadrian hadn't done more than a few kisses lately and it was starting to make both Hadrian and his neko worried. Sure they still cuddled and slept together but for a bond as new and powerful as theirs Hadrian needed constant reassurance as the submissive.
The next day was better though, Draco woke Hadrian up with kisses and breakfast. Dumb-as-a-door wasn't sitting in on any of their classes. The twins set off a bunch of pranks targeted at their brother. Hadrian had to smirk at that. The twins had cornered him on the day that he had been attacked. It was actually the reason he was going back to the common room.
****************Flashback****************
Hadrian was in the ROR training. Just because he was back at Hogwarts didn't mean that he could let himself get out of shape. While Draco preferred to duel with portable trainers and was actually really good at it, Hadrian wanted moving targets that always surprised him.
He had actually surprised his family and Draco with his dueling abilities. When his naive mate suggested some relaxed supplying Hadrian had shown him up tremendously. After that he and Draco had fueled harder and harder. Hadrian was very pleased to find that Draco was practically his equal and even got close to beating him on occasion.
Unbeknownst to the mates Tom and Severus had been watching the young pair. Once Draco finally conceded Tom stepped up. He watched as Hadrian battles his mother and won, although very very closely. He in turn battled Hadrian and was very surprised to find Hadrian holding his own against him. Tom had won but Hadrian had lasted longer than anyone other than Sev.
Which is why Hadrian was so drained when he left the ROR. He was just about to slip through a secret tunnel that would dump him in the great hall, when the twins appeared out of nowhere. "Harrykins how ya been?" They said in unison with identical smirks and mischievous eyes.
Hadrian sighed he knew that the twins knew who he was, he just didn't know how to approach them.
**********End Flashback*********
The twins had forgiven him and understood why he had changed. They even pledged themselves to him and became the second and third members of Hadrian's circle. Blaise half joined not a day later and when he joined he met the twins and was very shocked to find that they were his mates. Their core beeping very dark also helped calm his creature as Blaise was a royal dark elf. So the twins and Blaise were mates and were strengthening their bond anytime they could.
