I was laying on something soft that much I could tell, I knew there was a lot of people in the house too. The girl in the clearing name was Vanessa, that’s a nice name. I’m glad that she is ok. I was faintly aware of the pain in the back of my neck. I didn’t feel any pain in my chest. I hope they were healed up at least. I tried many times to form my wings, to open my eyes. But nothing ever happen. I was stuck in the dark, I don’t know how long I will be. I knew that someone was sitting beside. I felt the light pressure as they laid there hand on mine.
“Thank you Ebony.” The voice told me, “I’m sorry you go hurt because of me.” She went on, it was Vanessa “I hope you wake up soon,” She gave my hand a gentle squeeze, I tried to squeeze back, but my fingers wouldn’t tighten up.
I wanted to wake up, and look to see if she was ok. She let go of my hand, and I was alone. I wanted to wake up, I wanted to see everything again. I focus hard on trying to form my wings. I can just get them to form, maybe I would have a greater chance of waking up.
“Davian!” I heard someone scream, I heard feet coming into the room. I didn’t know what was happening, no one was talking, damn it why can’t they talk! I screamed inside my head.
“His wings.” Someone whispered, wait my wings are out! That’s great news to hear. I wonder who said that. I wanted to hug them. “Their beautiful.” Someone gasped, it sounded like Vanessa. I felt someone start to flip me over too.
“He is healing faster. Why isn’t he awake?” I heard what sounded like Tristan ask.
“I don’t know, the wound should be healed in an hour.” Davian was saying. An hour, really that long. I wonder how long I’ve been out.
“He will wake up.” Tristan said reassuringly to Davian.
“Yeah.” He muttered. There wasn’t a pain in the back of my neck anymore. I was feeling better by the minute.
I tired to force my eyes open, I wanted them opened. Finally after struggling to open them, my wall was coming into view, my vision wasn’t the clearest yet. I rolled over to my back, being careful of my wings, since they were still out.
“DAVIAN!” Someone beside me screamed, I placed my hands over my ears. “Opps, sorry.” She muttered. Davian came running into the room, only to stop dead when he saw I was awake.
“Ebony.” He exclaimed, he ran over to me engulfing me in a hug, I hugged him back. My body felt tired, It wanted me to sleep, but I didn’t want to. He let go of me and that girl, Vanessa wrapped her arms around me, kissing my cheek. I started to laugh at her, she looked at me smiling.
“I’m so glad your ok.” She whispered to me. She let go of me, I saw Cassie and Tristan standing by the door, Cassie looked pissed off but happy. Tristan just looked relieved.
“Glad your finally up.” Tessa said pushing past Tristan and Cassie, bring me a glass of water. I took it gratefully, I didn’t realized how thirsty I was till I drank the whole glass at one time. Tessa took the glass from and went to go fill it up in the sink in the bathroom. She came back with a full glass handing it to me. I nodded my thanks, and drank it down quickly.
“How long was I out?” I asked them.
“3 days.” Vanessa answered. I wanted to spit up the water, three whole days. She nodded her head, she sat down next to me on the bed and placed a hand on my shoulder.
