Aika sat out in the hallway, reading her book. It was lunch, and she didn't really want to eat anyways.

She was more into her book. Usually kids try to go on their phones, but she would rather not.

Aika looked up, seeing two feet in front of her.

"Hi! You must be Sadashi!!" Aika looked up, seeing a girl with blue hair.
"I'm Teruhashi! Let me know in any way you are comfortable if you need something! Are you sure you want to be out here with bullies around??"

She just shrugged. She was so used to getting beaten up and stolen from she didn't care at this point.

Teruhashi frowned at her. "If you ever want to come by you can always hang with me!!"

Aika just gave her a short, quick nod as Teruhashi walked away.

Then suddenly she heard gossip.
"She just turned down Teruhashi??"
"She's going to pay for that!!"
"I can't believe someone would turn down an angel!!"

Aika blocked their voices out, continuing her book.

The school day ended, and Aika was walking her way to hell, her house.

She hated her house. It's where her father lived. It's where she was forced to live. She didn't get a choice.

What goes, goes.

She sighed, walking out of the gates of the school. She saw the pink haired boy closing his eyes, searching for his glasses.

What was his name, Saiki?

She walked over to him, and picked up the odd, green glasses, and poked his shoulder.

He suddenly jumped, and she sighed. Aika pulled out his hand and set the glasses in them.

Saiki quickly put them on, looking at Aika.

'That's the new girl. Right?'

Aikas face was still emotionless, but she forced the smallest smile she could make.

"Thanks." He simply said. She nodded, walking away.

Although Saiki, wasn't to fond of everything that had happened before.

'How could I be so careless??'

Some guy a year above him had pushed him, but he was too focused on losing Teruhashi and Nendou that Saiki had forgotten to take notice to his surroundings, and with that little shove, his glasses fell right off.

Saiki wondered why that new girl helped him though, he thought that she thought he was weird, according to her thoughts.

And no, he isn't a creep. He can't help but hear everyone's thoughts, it's a curse.
