Kusuo stood up, and so did the other girls, as Kusuo took Aika's hand helping her up from the seat.
She showed him a faint smile, and he returned it. Teruhashi coughed.
"W-Well! Pizzas on me! I'll see you guys at school Monday!" Aika nodded, and Mera was carrying the pizzas leftover, running out of the restaurant.
"DONT EAT ALL THAT MERA!!"
"WhYyyyyyyyy?"
Kusuo held the door open for Aika, and they walked down the sidewalk hand in hand.
Kusuo let go of her hand quickly, and Aika gave him an odd look.
'Teruhashi is staring out the window.'
Aika turned around and saw Teruhashi's face squished against the window, but she quickly got off the window, pretending to wave.
Aika furrowed her eyebrows, but smiled and waved, no matter how much guts of Teruhashi she hated.

'Are you sure you want to go home..?'
Aika looked down, and shook her head.
'I don't want to, but I need to..'
Kusuo frowned, seeing tears start falling down her cheeks. He knew she was right, but wished she wasn't.
Kusuo wiped off her tears with his thumb, smiling slightly at her.
'It'll be ok... I'll go with you..'
Aika's eyes widened.
'You don't need too!! I mean, well...'
'Talk back.'
Aika looked up at Kusuo like he was insane.
'He takes advantage of you because you won't fight back, so fight back.'
Aika's surprised expression eased into a curious one, taking in that he was right.
Kusuo wrapped his arms around Aika. Aika took his gesture, resting her head on his shoulder.
'We need to get you talking again.'
