Sitting down with a bunch of idiots for three hours was unbearable. After just 30 minutes I could feel my soul leaving my body screaming for help. It was bad enough no one was listening to my proposals about the company but when they started calling me "dear" and "lovely" I wanted to push them all out of the window.

As I was forming a plan to make it all look like an accident I started to zoom out away from the meeting and into my own thoughts. If I just could escape the camera view and maybe if I wore my gloves there would be no fingerprints. No that won't work, I now I already got on the camera when I arrived plus I shook hands while saying hello to everybody. Well, maybe if I just turn myself in after..

My thoughts were broken by a voice calling my name. "Hello? Earth to Lany? Can you hear me?" I turned my head in the direction of the voice and saw my co-worker waving his hand. "Hi, welcome back dear. What got you so distracted?" He gave his signature smirk, I wanted to rip his face of. I just forced a smile back and shook my head. "Nothing, sorry. I'll pay attention."

Another hour passed by and now it was only one hour left. Soon I'll be free from this hellhole. Soon I can leave. Soon. Soon.

I felt my phone buzz in my hand. Who could that be? I checked my phone discreetly to see who texted me. It was my husband. "How's the meeting?" I smiled at his text and unlocked my phone to answer. "I want to stab everyone." I put my phone down until i felt another buzz. "Don't get blood on your dress. We have dinner reservations at seven." I chuckled lightly at his response. "Love you for enabling me." His response came faster this time. "Love you too.<3" He's such a loser for still using that but it still makes me blush.
