Mount Olympus.
"We need to stop imprisoning the Romans at night," said Bianca Di Angelo, who sat in her seat at the table.
Cedmi started to hate the table Chaos had created in the middle of the throne room, a couple of nights ago.
Ever since everyone had sat around it and bombarded him and Keneya with questions, they decided to use it as a war meeting table.
Speaking of Keneya, it didn't come much of a shock to Cedmi that she was playing a game today of who she can make mad the fastest.
Since morning she had been making many more sassy comments to everyone and saying weird jokes, making Cedmi's head hurt.
It looked like Chaos regretted getting her out of prison in the first place.
Cedmi nearly snorted in laughter at the thought and bit his lip slightly not to smile. Chaos looked ready to murder Keneya.
The only ones who actually seemed fine with her were Koster and Mari. A surprising trio indeed.
Cedmi understood why, though. Koster seemed to like her sassy personality quite much, and he would not be shocked if the two became friends.
And Mari, she was just always sweet and kind. When she actually started talking to Keneya about random stuff, the two of them would not shut up.
Jason Grace nodded to Bianca's words. "I agree," he said. "I get it that we're trying to keep them safe, but this is not the way to do it."
Cedmi glanced at him briefly. Jason hadn't changed one bit, if he had to be completely honest.
At least not in his looks.
With his still blond hair, eyes that were just lighter than Thalia's and square glasses that sat on his nose, he looked same as always.
Zeus sighed and ran a hand down his face. "Any other suggestions then?" he asked. "Cause I can't think of any."
"Why can't we just bring them here as well?" questioned Melina Havord, a girl with wavy, auburn hair that was Voids ex-ninth commander.
"Romans and Greeks don't exactly mix, not even at this day and age," said Annabeth Chase, who Cedmi noticed changed quite a bit.
He was always so busy with training the campers, killing monsters or other things over his time back at camp, that he didn't even get a good look at his first ex-girlfriend.
Annabeth's hair was longer, but still looked like blonde princess curls, that fell over her shoulders. Her grey eyes still looked stormy as ever.
Cedmi wondered if her personality was still the same, and if she still had an answer for nearly everything along with a good strategy.
He hadn't realised how much he missed her.
A long time had passed, and he no longer felt anything romantic towards her, but still saw her as his ex-best friend.
He shook his head slightly, to clear his thoughts and tried to listen back to the conversations at the table.
"Are you meaning to tell us that they won't tolerate each other even during a war?" asked Alex Brown, Voids ex-third commander.
"It's hard to tell," said Apollo. "The only Greeks/Romans that travel between the camps are mostly only the immortal ones."
Michael Yew shook his head. "That's ridiculous, dad," he commented. "Is the situation we are in not enough to make the camps cooperate?"
