Here's me with another chapter. Sorry that it's been... well, a while, but school and stress has been horrendous, and I haven't had the time to even look on Wattpad, much less to write something for fun - but now I'm stuck at home again so here it is.
I decided to focus this chapter a little bit more about the children of the underworld, or at least mostly their points of view, so I hope that you don't mind! XX
Anyways, I hope you enjoy!
Mount Olympus...
The early morning started off with an explosion that had the five Commanders of Chaos - those that were currently present on Olympus - to be jostled awake. It was Hades' temple that served as their new hideout and they spent most of their time there (if they weren't in meetings held in the Throne Room) with Hades himself not minding their presence. Bianca certainly enjoyed having a room across from her little brother's after being separated from him for so long and talking to her father sometimes on a regular basis was amazing too.
She certainly didn't like explosions though as they normally indicated someone being stupid, however, Luke was at Camp Jupiter so she couldn't blame it on him. Normally then the blame would next fall onto Charles, who loved working with extremely dangerous things, but alas, he was also at Camp Jupiter. Her other friends were more cautious most of the time, excluding Adrien, but he didn't like explosives so it could not be him. That left Bianca to think that the only possible reason for a massive explosion now would be the Greeks and the Romans trying to kill each other again.
And Void attacking them, of course. But she might actually prefer that option to the prior one.
A sigh of frustration left her lips as she strode out of her room, not caring in the slightest that she was currently wearing orange pyjama bottoms with a matching long sleeved top. If people kept rudely ripping her from sleep, then they should probably not expect her to look composed every single time. Bianca definitely did not feel energetic enough to actually dress herself.
"Nice fashion statement," Michael commented upon her entrance into the living room, grinning slightly at her vividly orange outfit. The teasing effect in his words was ruined as she took note of the bird nest residing at the top of his head which he called hair.
"Well, at least I'm not the only person making one," Bianca responded innocently, looking him up and down for a second and instantly hearing the snort Feria couldn't keep in. She sent a slight grin at the other girl, briefly noticing the circles under her eyes and her slightly rumpled appearance. It would seem like she wasn't the only one that had been violently ripped from her precious sleep.
The other Commanders were all already scattered around the living room, most of them dressed in sleepwear too, apart from Percy - Bianca was slightly concerned that he looked like he hadn't slept at all and was discussing something important with Keneya judging by their expressions. The two assassins looked like the contrast opposite as they stood next to each other: Keneya was dressed in a white jumpsuit that had a cape with a hood attached to the piece of clothing at the shoulders - somehow it didn't look bad on her, even with how white her hair was.
Percy on the other hand stood in all black, from his jet-black locks, to the black cloak he currently wore with the hood down, and his black leather Oxford shoes. The more Bianca looked, the more like Ying and Yang the two of them seemed; both were beautiful, trained killers who didn't hesitate during murder, yet Keneya had this mask of innocence around her that made people underestimate her. In contrast, Percy looked dangerous at first sight, but inside he had that rare kindness to him that many wished to experience.
Bianca hadn't been sure of Keneya at first - the girl had shown up out of nowhere and suddenly there was another person competing to win Percy's heart. That simply wasn't the case though, and judging from the talk that Zoë had with Keneya yesterday, things between her and Percy were indeed overly complicated. In the end, it wouldn't have mattered though, because compared to both Feria and Aliana who were trying to win Percy's heart, Keneya had already done so in the past and it was clear as day that she had fallen in love with him just as hard back.
