‘He's right. He's so right that I can no longer control myself. I want to kill. Kill. Kill. Kill em all. Kill until no more human's left in the face of the Earth. How can I possibly forget that? That day...the day they took the only left love of my life?’
Year 1317
A certain town near the Amburayan River, a place, unknown to the world, there something occultic and demonic happening...Every night the people of the town performs rituals, witchery beneath a storage house near the bridge. And while they perform, they always go crazy with their belief and they sacrifices kids on an altar and stabs them to death.
No matter who's kids they are, they don't care. As long as they succeed with the ritual.
It was a stormy night that time, when a guy in black clothes and a child on his arms came to the town to temporary hide. He seeked help to the town's people and they gladly welcomed him.
Unknown to them, he's a wanted person and the bounty for his head is quite high. He's a serial killer.
But that goes to him too. He also have no idea that the people of the town are more of a killer than him. And that the whole town is their grand prey-ground.
After recieving dry clothes and food, the guy went to sleep with the child beside him in a cramped room. He didn't know that he was actually drugged because he's too tired from running away. He didnt have time to realize if its a drug or he's just too tired.
In his sleep, he was taken beneath the storage house inside a metal animal cage. The child was tied up to the altar.
The town's people are all present and begun the ritual.
Speaking in Ilocano...
“Tatang, aramiden tayu aya daytoy kaniya da? Haan tayu met nga am-ammu isuda... Baka ngay no--.” The youngest among the people inside said but was interrupted by her father and was shoved to the side.“Tsk. Tumalna ka man! Adda tayu ditoyen, awanen iti maaramidemon. Agyaman ka ketdi ta binay-an daka nga agbiag! Agwaam, alaem tay kutsilyo.” The father angrily said in a low voice so that the others won't hear it.
Because she's the only teenager on the town and the only left alive. Other kids were sacrificed when she was younger. Their rule is to let one kid live to continue the ritual in the future.
It's a full moon night. After the heavy rain, the moon's light shown down to that place. The people rejoices because it's the perfect time to summon a devil from hell and complete the ritual.
As the ritual proceeded, the guy woke up and heard them chanting in Latin. At first, he couldn't hear and see properly because of drowsyness. He squinted his eyes and saw the child lying at the altar. He tried to get out of the cage.
The town's people looked at him. Trap inside a small cage like a helpless wild animal. They were grinning and enjoying the view.
His eyes glared in anger. “Anong balak niyong gawin?! Pakawalan niyo 'ko dito!” He spoke in Filipino.
The people laughed at him.
He bangs his hands to the metal bar and the people laughs even harder. They were getting more and more amused.
The teenager girl, though already saw this scene many times before, still cant get used to it. She grabbed the ritual knife or dagger with her shaking hands and walk towards the altar. She's going to be the one to stab the sacrifice as a sign that she's ready to be part of the group.
