A small boy walks onto the platform pushing his cart followed closely by his grandmother. He's both excited and nervous as he looks at the crowd. He heads toward the back of the train.
He finally finds who he was searching for, his godfather, Harry. Harry was waiting for him just like he had promised and helps him load his trunk. When Teddy steps back off the train he hears what has become a familiar argument.
"He is only a boy!" his grandmother almost yells.
"Yes he is a boy. He's 11 and he's starting school. I've honored your wishes for the past 10 years and held my tongue because I knew THIS day would come. He deserves to know the truth!"
The argument is over whether he, Teddy should be told about his father. Harry has told him many things about his dad by telling him about other stories that his father is in.
For one he knew it was his father that taught Harry the first real defense against dark arts he learned. He knew his Dad and Mom were in the group that rescued Harry from his aunt and uncle's house on more than one occasion.
But he also knew his grandmother hated his dad and blamed him for the death of his mom. She blamed Harry for the death of his grandfather and did everything she could to as she put it 'protect' him from knowing about his dad.
Teddy walked up to the pair and as usual the conversation ended. Harry stepped aside to let Teddy say goodbye to his grandmother and then asked him to get back on board and go to his compartment.
