"I kinda figured it out for myself," Teddy said.
"How so?"
"For one I like my meat undercooked. Grandmother always cooks it well done if not burnt and you cook it how I like it and at least smile every time I ask you to cook it that way. "
Harry laughed at that, remembering the looks Andromeda gave him at cookouts.
"About the only thing I hear you and her fight about is my dad soooo..."
"You figured it had to be connected to him."
"And then there's the fact that I naturally have really good hearing and eyesight but it gets better around the full moon and I get really moody then as well. I mentioned it to you one time, the hearing and eyesight bit, and you said I got it from my dad."
"Your grandmother has been very strict about what I was allowed to tell you. I've tried to slip as much in over time as I could. I have no idea what she has told you."
"Directly, she hasn't told me anything. But she has made it clear what her opinion of him was. Then again she usually puts you in the same category as him so I figured he couldn't be all bad," Teddy said with a laugh.
"I consider it an honor to be in the same category as your dad."
"And another thing is you and Ginny, Uncle Ron and Aunt Hermione and Neville all get upset when anything anti-werewolf is in the paper or brought up in conversation. More so if you know I'm where I can hear."
"Well your Dad means a great deal to us. He and your Mom gave their lives to try and make the world a safer, better place for you. They died heroes. But you should be aware that depending on who tells the story your dad may get left out."
"It isn't fair!" Teddy exclaimed.
"No it isn't fair, Teddy. Your Dad had to deal with that sort of thing his entire life. Sounds like the train is getting ready to leave."
Harry stood up and hugged his godson.
"Just remember you can contact me anytime and no matter what ANYONE says about your dad he was a good man that loved you enough to risk everything to protect you. He didn't want your Mom to fight but she loved your Dad and always wanted to be there with him."
"Thanks Harry," Teddy said as he hugged him. "And thank you for telling me."
