marvelbutmostlyloki: So I'm now going to prom.

smithnwesson: Awesome

smithnwesson: What changed your mind

marvelbutmostlyloki: A few new friends did. They were very insistent.

smithnwesson: Well props to them because it's gonna be awesome

marvelbutmostlyloki: So they keep telling me. I'm not sure I believe it, but we agreed I could leave after an hour if I wasn't enjoying it.

smithnwesson: No don't leave

smithnwesson: It's gonna be so much fun

smithnwesson: Prom is supposed to be the best night of your high school career

marvelbutmostlyloki: I've yet to have a good day of high school, so that is entirely possible. That doesn't mean I'll enjoy it.

smithnwesson: You're so gloomy

smithnwesson: But prom will be great

smithnwesson: Scouts honor

marvelbutmostlyloki: Are you a Boy Scout?

smithnwesson: Lol no

smithnwesson: But I think it's cute that you think I was

smithnwesson: Wait can high schoolers be Boy Scouts

marvelbutmostlyloki: I believe so. I'm not a Boy Scout, though, so I can't be sure.

smithnwesson: Well whatever

smithnwesson: Prom is still going to be great

smithnwesson: I promise

marvelbutmostlyloki: You can say that all you'd like, but I highly doubt it will change how enjoyable prom is. In fact, you may be making it worse by getting my hopes up.

smithnwesson: Okay whatever prom is gonna be great either way

marvelbutmostlyloki: I don't know if I believe it, but I guess we'll see.
