Chapter 6

    Recap from chapter 5: Chase decides to go find Skye and get her back, even if he has to die for it.

    Chase drove for what seemed like hours. He had grown tired from driving for so long, but he couldn't and wouldn't give up. He was bound with Skye's love that he felt he could fly to the top of the mountain to save her. When he finally reached the mountain, he started climbing. He knew it would be cold, so he brought a coat for him and Skye. He didn't want to walk up there, so he ran up the mountainous terrain, because he knew Skye would die if he didn't get up there soon. Meanwhile, with Skye on top of the mountain, she was getting colder and colder by the minute.

" I really miss Chase", Skye said, shivering. She sat there in the snow and thought for a minute.

" I think i'll start just start walking", said Skye. As she was walking, she could feel her joints getting stiff. She started yelling Chase's name, just in case he could hear her. As Chase was walking he could hear a little whisper, calling his name. It caught his ear like a hook. He started running so fast that his paws were starting to hurt, but he didn't care. He ran and he ran, the yelling getting louder and louder. Skye and Chase were getting closer and closer. After about fifteenth minutes of just running, he then just stopped.

       He could see Skye right in front of him, shivering worse then she was before. Chase ran to her as fast as he possibly could. He reached her and he put the coat on her. She was so happy to see him, she started licking his cheeks, forehead, and neck. After about twenty minutes of Skye licking him, they went to a nearby tree and Chase laid down, holding out his paws. Skye gratefully laid down in his paws, trying to warm up against his chest. Chase started a fire so they both could stay warm. They both fell asleep, hoping to be warm the next morning.
