Recap from Chapter 10: The helicopter takes off and Skye starts crying. Chase says he'll be back, but ryder doesn't believe him. The helicopter then blows up.
" Noooo!!!!!", Skye cried, yelling as loud as she possibly could. The rest of the team started to mourn for their lost and beloved friend.
Chase went deaf immediately, so deaf that his head had a throbbing pain. "Am I dead?", Chase thought to himself. He didn't know or care, all he could feel was air rushing passed him. He was able to open his eyes. When he saw that he was falling, he couldn't help but yell out for help. After about five seconds, he could hear a faint jet-like noise above him. He was getting closer and closer to the ground.
Even closer, the ground got, but the jet got louder and louder. After another five seconds, Chase felt as though his stomach had squeezed into his gut in one second. He had been caught by an army officer with a harness.
" Your safe now, private", said the officer, chase still closing his eyes. With the team still mourning, Skye didn't know what to do, she didn't know what to think. So she just started to run, run as far as she could, run as though she had the entire world hunting her.
" I love you", Skye said to herself, still running.
