The minute I heard his car leave the curb, I started to feel...tired. More tired than I usually did. It was like the more distance between us, the drowsier I felt.

....No Persephone, It wasn't that. How stupid of a thought! I was just stressed from trying to bring my grade up...that was the answer, or an acceptable excuse I've persuaded myself to believe.

I stood up from the floor, glancing at the kitchen clock. It was 5:45....I don't remember crouching on the floor for so long. My legs would've ached horribly from the effort.

Suddenly, I felt a furry tail brush against my shin and looked down.

"Katze...?"

Katze was sitting there, purring loudly, playfully batting at my leg with her paw. I sighed, pushing her away.

"Nicht jetzt, Katze, ich bin müde." I muttered, walking up the stairs.

I heard the soft padding of her paws behind me, and I gritted my teeth, whipping around.

"Katze! Gehen Sie zurück in die küche jetzt!" I hissed, pointing downstairs.

Katze froze, meowing in fear before bolting down the stairs and back into the kitchen. I didn't want to shout...but why did I? And...how did I speak German so quickly? I only knew a few phrases, I'd only studied it for half the year. But that doesn't explain why I sounded fluent.

I walked up the rest of the stairs, sighing. I was overanalyzing things...I probably knew the phrase from a while back. At least, I thought I did.

Shaking the thought from my head, I walked into my room and fell onto my bed. why was I so tired? I still felt exhausted....I paused. That dream...ever since I had that bizarre dream, I'd been getting even more tired as the days passed. I couldn't explain that or even justify with a lie to keep myself calm.

For once, I was dreading sleep. What if I dreamt it again? What could happen? I exhaled slowly, closing my eyes. Maybe I'd find out.

"Ah, L" the woman said, rolling her eyes.

Mr. Hall smirked, nudging her in the arm.

"C'mon P, I was joking."

"L, why was I cursed to be your sister?" she groaned.

"Ask mom and dad. Although why you'd trouble them about their love life, I don't know." he laughed.

Mr. Hall had a sister? I tried to remember if he mentioned her at all. I was pretty sure he didn't.

"Hey!!" the angry man shouted, interrupting them. Mr. Hall smiled amusedly.

"Yes, W?" Mr. Hall asked.

"We should be having a meeting! Not watching you two have a chat!" He yelled.

"...You're right." Mr. Hall sighed, his expression all seriousness. He sat in the empty chair at the head of the table.

"W....wake S up, please?" Mr. Hall said

W leaned over the table and slapped the sleeping man across the face. He instantly perked up, but he still looked tired.

"G, stop other G before she eats herself into a coma." He said.

Another man grinned and took the candy bar away from the woman. She crossed her arms and pouted, eyeing the candy hungrily. The woman sitting next to S glared at G and the candy bar he held.

"E...attention, please?" Mr. Hall arched an eyebrow.

The woman huffed and looked up at Mr. Hall.

"The SS's meeting is now in session." he said.

"What were the tasks you completed? how about you, E?" He asked.

"I made a girl jealous of her classmate. She embarrassed her." she said, pouting.

"P?"

"I made a girl too proud to ask for help. Her grades are slipping." she said haughtily.

".....W?"

"I made a girl punch somebody today." he snickered.

Mr. Hall paled a little, looking around the table. I felt my heart skip a beat. Those things...I did all of them!!

"S....?" he asked carefully.

"I...I made a girl really tired. She's exhausted all the time..." he yawned.

"Ah...everyone, what was the name of the person you affected?" he mumbled, nervously running a hand through his hair.

Everyone at the table looked down in some sort of notebook they had. They were all identical, except they each had a letter corresponding to the person they were for. Flipping to a certain page, they all spoke in unison.

"Persephone Stathis."
