"He saw that the being had nothing in it that was human and it was only dressed in the body it had once owned" Ghost Story by Peter Straub
Glowing eyes, lip curled up, vacant smile
Pure evil within, a twisted mind
A cursed life, nothing to live for - the damned
The smell of death, as they approach, choking you
You are frozen and cannot run at the sight of his dishevelled clothes and rotten corpse
You are disgusted but intrigued, lured by his fateful stare, his eyes glimmering like the moonlight on the ocean
He draws you in only to suck you dry
To devour and expel your soul to the darkness within
Pure destruction and chaos at its whim
Revulsion coursing through your veins
As you look at its face, smiling as it feeds
Gagging at the thought of the decay that has touched you, fed on you, used you
Wishing you could forget the spell that led you to your fate
Begging to be free, to release you from this dying state.
