The wolf, Hiding

The way you behave at your lowest
Is truly the reflection that is the closest
To your true self, the real you
All your good points and flaws shine through

When you are thrust into darkness
Is when you learn who you can trust
It's the point at the bottom where you can learn
Which way your friendships can turn

The darkness allows you to hide, you believe
But in fact it lets others truly see
The aura you portray and give out to others
Is the very behaviour you tried to cover

When you are low and sad, you have nowhere to hide
Because you have been stripped bare, with no room for pride
You have nothing more in you to disguise
So your body and mind rid you of your lies

So when someone is at their lowest, watch them
See how they behave
Do they pick themselves up and flourish?
Or do they suck your energy to nourish
Their own pity and self loathing
Then these are the ones in sheep's clothing
