I walked to the elevator and waited for it to open. Lanky was on the right side of me and Cane and Choco was on the left. We just came back from running some errands and linking up with the girls and now I wanted to sleep.
The door to the elevator opened and I was about to walk in when my phone rang.
Pookie.
My little sister, great.
"Hello?" I said answering the phone.
"Wassup big sister." She said.
"What do you want?"
"I thought that you'll never ask. Ma' told me to ask you for two hundred fifty dollars. I need it for my school field trip." My little sister Ethan asked.
"What field trip cost two hundred dollars?" I said flabbergasted. I was breathing like a dying fish out of water. It wasn't like I have problem with giving her the money, it was just that back in my days field trips cost 20 to 50 dollars max.
"It's for my end of the year field trip." She said.
"Ight, i'll come drop it off tonight. Where's Kevin and mommy?" I asked as I looked through the rack off clothes.
"Mom at work and Kevin at practice." She said.
"Where you at?" I asked her.
"I'm at tutoring." She huffed.
"If you at tutoring then get off my phone." I joked.
"Whatever, nobody want to talk to you." She said laughing.
