While A'Jreanna was upstairs taking a shower, both Vadim and Hector were downstairs making breakfast. Hector was chopping up some mushrooms while Vadim was making waffles.
Even though Vadim and Hector were now cool, the tension was still thick, and it was caused by the woman upstairs.
"Do you love A'Jreanna?" Vadim asked Hector out of nowhere. Hector stopped cutting the mushrooms to look at Vadim.
"Yeah, You?" He asked.
"Yeah, I never stopped." Vadim replied back.
Vadim and Hector looked at each other awkwardly before returning back to what they were doing. Inside the kitchen became tense and neither party didn't say a word. Vadim continued to do what he was doing all while he was thinking about A'Jreanna, and Hector thought about the situation throughly.
"Look, If you want me to back off then I will." Hector said.
Him and Vadim just got back on good terms, which means that their isn't war anymore, which means he doesn't have to spend money on ammo and men doesn't have to loose their lives. Yes, he cared deeply about A'Jreanna but if suffocating his feelings for her insure his men safety then so be. It would be hard but it's worth it.
"You don't have to, we all know who A'Jreanna truly cares about." Vadim said looking Hector.
Vadim knee deep down that A'Jreanna can't stand him that at the moment it was just lust. Yeah, he loves A'Jreanna, but he knew that she doesn't love him.
Hector thought about what Vadim said and was about to reply when A'Jreanna walked in. She took a seat at the island and stared at the two weirdly. She could sense that something happened when she was gone but she didn't say anything.

I sat at the island staring at Vadim and Hector. Their back were tense and they looked... depressed. I don't know what happened when I was gone but must have been something serious.
"Do you guys need any help?" I asked awkwardly.
Hector looked at Vadim, waiting for him to reply but when he didn't say anything so Hector decided to speak up. "Can you whisk some eggs please?" He asked.
"Sure." I said looking at Vadim.
I got up and walked over to fridge to get the eggs before walking over to Hector. He handed me a bowl and a fork and I stood in between the both of them as I cracked the eggs.
"So are the two of you okay?" I asked looking up briefly.
"Never better." Vadim said moving away.
"Great." Hector said giving me a tight smile.
They went back to what to they were doing, and when I was done Hector dropped the peppers and mushroom into the eggs. He took my job and I stood there awkwardly.
"Can I help?" I asked Vadim.
He looked at me skeptically before backing away from the waffle maker. I didn't know what I was doing but it isn't hard to make waffles... right?
Picking up the batter, I poured some on the waffle maker then closed the contraption. I waited a minute before opening it but when I opened it the waffle wasn't even cooked. I could hear laughing behind me and turned around to see Vadim and Hector laughing.
"What's so funny?" I asked smiling at him.
"You did it wrong." He said smiling.
I like when he smiles.
"Since the two of you laughing how about y'all show me how to do it." I said moving to the side.
Vadim pulled me back to where I was and placed one of his hand on top of mines. Hector moved to the other side of me and placed his hand on my left hand. "First spray the waffle iron." He said making me pick up the cooking spray. He helped me spray the right amount before putting it back down.
"Last time you poured too little inside of the iron, this time fill the cup..." He said helping me scoop the batter. "So the waffles will be thicker." He said before letting my hand go. I poured the batter onto the iron and heard the sizzle.
"Before you opened it too early, you have to wait until the waffle iron dings or at least five minutes." Vadim said closing it.
This time I waited five minutes, and when the bell dinged I opened it. "Look, I made a waffle." I said proud.
"Well we helped but it's all—alright you made a waffle by yourself." Hector said after I pinched him.
"Alright, do it on your own." Vadim said pulling away.
I followed the directions that were given and when I opened the waffle iron my waffle came out perfect. I made a couple more waffles while Hector made the eggs and Vadim made the bacon. Once we were done we sat down eat.
[Ahhh, eggs and bacon, I wish I could eat those😭😫]
"What happened to the bruise on your neck." Vadim asked.
"Whoever brung me the clothes brung makeup so I decided to use it to cover the bruise.
"You did a good job." Hector complimented.
Hector and Vadim talked while I ate. I need new phone, I need to check up on my mom and my siblings, I need call in my job, and I need to check up on my girls and Choco.
Poor Choco, I bet he misses me.
"What you over there thinking about?" Hector asked.
"I have a lot of errands to run today." I groaned.
"I would love to tag along but I got work in the next hour." Hector said.
"Me too, important deal." Vadim said looking at Hector.
I looked at them skeptically before returning back to my food. "Don't worry, Lanky and Crane with keep my company."

My good sis, I felt like hoe during the waffle scene, only god one knows. But anyway I hope you guys this update and I wonder what meeting Vadim is talking about.
