I walked into the kitchen to see both Vadim and Hector sitting at the island, talking and eating. "Gentlemen." I said on the other side.
Hector dropped his fork and Vadim just stared at me. They were staring... AGAIN. "Is there something on my face?" I asked the both of them but they didn't say anything. Instead they continued to stare at me.
Weird.
"Stop Staring!" I exclaimed.
Vadim cleared his throat and Hector looked away sheepishly. "Sorry." They both said making me roll my eyes.
I walked over to the microwave and grabbed my food before taking a seat on the counter. "So where are you guys off to after this?" I asked, biting a piece of my bacon.
"We have business to attend to." Vadim said.
I know what business he was talking about and I'm glad he was keeping it short. I don't want to know and I don't care about anything that is happening in that business. All I care about is me and my family safety.
"So how is this going to work?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" Hector said getting up and walking over to me.
"This whole three way relationship thing and you guys line of work." I said.
"Well, until everything is solved, you won't be together as often. We need Felix to still think we don't like each and that means we can't be seen together." Vadim said getting up and placing his dish in the sink.
"And if your theory is true, then that means Felix won't hesitate to hurt people close to us, and your safety is our main priority." Hector said.
"I understand." I said looking at the both of them.
"Alright, I'm going to head out. I'll call you later." Vadim said fixing his suit.
He was about to leave when I grabbed his arm and pulled him back. I placed a light kiss on his lips before pulling away with a smile.
