That woman had been coming around for a while now. As a sniper during World War One, your position was from a window, which wasn't too far up from the ground. The woman looked like trouble, but you spared her. From what you could see from under her hood, she looked very beautiful. And, besides that, she was a lady. It's not like she could be a spy... Could she?

You thought about her as you returned back to your position once again from the daily rotations. Why was she snooping around? What did she want? You were going to figure it out. Of course, today, she came back again. This time, however, she had a more... Direct approach. She climbed right up to your open window, not noticing you. When you were sure she wouldn't see, you ducked down to hide, and it seemed to work just fine... Until you felt cold steel against your neck.

"Why are you watching me?" Asked the strange woman, who now had you in a hold, with her small sword against your neck. You raised your hands in surrender, remaining calm.

"Well, my name is (Y/N) (L/N), pleasure to meet you. I was actually wondering why you were watching me as well." You said, "It seems only fair that I since I told you about myself, you could let me know about you. Let's start with WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU WANT?" You yelled. She hushed you quickly, and looked around nervously to make sure no one heard. She then released her hold on you, and you turned to face her.

"Well, Mr. (L/N)... My name is...uhm... Evie. My name is Evie Green." She said. You gave her a skeptical look.

"That sounds like a fake name." You told her. She sighed heavily, and pinched the bridge of her nose tightly.

"Fine... If you must know, my name is Lydia Frye." She said, annoyed, "And I am here to find some papers that I need. So, sir, if you'll kindly get the hell out of my way, I would like to get my job here done." She said, trying to get around you, but you sidestepped, blocking her way. She grunted at you softly in frustration.

"I'm afraid I can't let you do that, ma'am." You said curtly. She frowned deeply, her eyebrows knitted together.

"And why not?" She asked, as she made more fruitless attempts to get around you. She did a jab step to fake you out, but you quickly recovered.

"Because if I let you in, I'll lose my job. If I don't have a job, I can't pay hospital bills. If I can't pay hospital bills, my mother dies. Does it make sense now?" You asked, slightly snappy. She gave you a look of pity.

"I'm... so sorry." Said Lydia, "Y-You should have told me. I had no idea." You shook your head. It was okay. Maybe if you did Lydia this favor, you could see her again. You didn't know why, but the thought of her being yours was... Lovely to you. You wanted to be with her. So you agreed to help.

"Ms. Frye." You said, "I can help you find these papers. However, I'm going to need you to  distract the men out there. Can you-"

"-I will not prostitute myself. There are other ways." She said, which made you blush, slightly embarrassed.

"Actually, Ms. Frye, I was going to suggest that you start a fight." You said meekly. She nodded.

"I'm on it. (Y/N), the papers should be in the black chest four doors away from you. Loot every document in it. If you do not, things will be detrimental." She warned, "Oh, and... When you're done, meet me outside with the papers." You nodded, and started making your way towards the room with the chest, all while Lydia fought with the men.

You knew exactly which chest it was. It was huge, and in the center of the room. Having no idea where the key was to unlock it, you jammed the chest open, and stole and folded every paper inside. When you were done, you ran out the window and climbed down the building, folded papers tucked neatly into your satchel. No more than ten minutes later, Lydia emerged from the building, a tad sweaty. She snatched the bag from your hands, and gave you a quick but rough kiss on the lips as she slid a crumpled note into your hand

"Thank you!" She yelled, sounding a bit frantic, and she started running. She just ran and ran, leaving you star struck

"Hey, Frye!" You yelled after her, "I want my satchel!" But she kept on running. Annoyed, you uncrumpled the nore in your hand, which read:

       "Dear (Y/N),

Meet me tomorrow by St. Peter's Cathedral. Urgent!

                                                                                                                  -LF"

"Sounds like a date." You said to yourself. Smiling, you walked back to your post, all the while trying to think of an alias for the raid and the fights. Your mom would be so very upset if you became jobless... But hey, even if you got thrown out of the army as a sniper... You always did love espionage. Maybe Lydia wouldn't mind if you joined her in her work?
