Venus in Retrograde

The next morning Venus had gotten up earlier than expected. She felt good, considering the new kid was adorable and her age, so she quickly chucked on some clothes and simple makeup. Before walking to the kitchen, she noticed a door with 'Peter (double helix)' inscribed within it. She opened it to find a white aesthetic room, with hard wood headboard and a neatly made bed. The pillows were neatly arranged and a nice woolen rug draped over the end. It was only 8 am on a Sunday, and Venus didn't expect Peter to be up so early. 

Sure enough she heard a slight snore from above. She looks to the corner of the room and sure enough was a bundle of webs, which she suspected to be Peter's sleeping body. She went back to her room and grabbed her 33 inch softball bat before returning to Peter's room. She reached up at nudged the sleeping boy through the web. "Wha-whoa." Peter fell from the webs after being awoken so suddenly. He closed his eyes as they adjusted and stretched his naked torso. When he opened his eyes he was met with the his beautiful new roommate. 

"H-Hey, what are you doing here Venus?" e said grabbing a shirt off his bed. She shook her head slightly, as blush creeped up her cheeks. "You, ah, you look really good." Peter's face was bright red, as they walked out the door and into the kitchen where Dum-E was making some coffee poorly. "Yeah, something about the radioactive spider bite made me ripped over night." Venus sat down she watched Peter try to talk to the robot. "It can't talk, you know."

Peter chuckled and sighed. "Yeah, but everyone one and thing deserves a chance. Everyone makes mistakes-" "EVERYBODY HAS THOSE DAYS!" They both yelled and cracked up, even Dun-E was moving around exaggeratedly to imitate laughing. Tony walked in on the teenagers almost crying holding their stomachs. "Jarvis, show me what happened." After Peter tried explaining but failed miserably, laughing even harder, wheezing out words. The video played and after it finished they were all rolling around laughing. Even though the situation wasn't that funny, they all found they were happy and in the moment of bliss they shared, none of them could stop smiling.

Venus got ready in her sports bra and shorts, while Peter was in sweats with no shirt. They both trained separately for an hour, trying not to drool over the others body. Peter tinkered with his shooters as Venus went through punching bag after punching bag. Her dad's serum had been passed down through gene, so she got all the good super soldier stuff, while her mother was Storm  an ice powered mutant. (Pretend she died in child birth) Venus got caught up in her punches. Thinking about how she wanted her fathers approval, but he never gave her the time of day. Suddenly the bag burst and a chill ran through the room as ice formed around her legs. Peter leaped forwards. "V, whats happening?" Venus panicked.

 "I-I don't know Pete, h-help." Ice quickly spread and Venus felt the ice take over her arms. Then she felt strong, comfortable arms wrap around her. She unconsciously leaned into the hug and the warmth and she realized she felt something she never thought she would. Safe. Quickly the ice dissipated, as Venus looked into Peter's chocolate orbs she found herself leaning in, and found Peter mirroring her. Their lips were inches apart when the elevator dinged and a frantic Tony ran out followed by a guy in a wheelchair and a scruffy haired middle-aged man. 

"W-WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?!?" Tony yelled out of breath at Venus who ran an hugged them both. Logan still hugging her fiercely and protectively from behind while she answered. "My uncles. The X-Men. Charles Xavier and Logan Howlett."
