Shortly after meeting Happy Hogan, Mr Stark's head for security, Peter asked for them to drop him off at his apartment."Mr Stark, i got homework." Tony groaned. Not only at the idea that his new found genius protege had the desire to do homework over hanging out with him, but also at the name. 'Mr Stark' made him feel old. "I'm gonna pretend you didn't say that." Tony said as the car came to a stop. "We're here." Happy called from the front seat. Tony turned to Peter who was ready to get out. "Come by the tower around dinner time, we'll talk more then." Peter jumped out and waved goodbye before jumping into an ally to do some quick spider man duties before dinner.
<Around dinner time at the Avengers Tower (Tony never sold it its still in NY)>
Peter had been trying to get into the tower for over an hour. The receptionist didn't believe the reason why Peter was there and had said Tony was in a rather important meeting. Peter was out of options, until he saw a peak of metal and a red star flash behind a wall. Curious, Peter followed and was then pinned against the wall with a tight metal fist around his throat. "Whoa. Y-You a-are t-he w-winter soldier sir." He choked out. Bucky smiled a bit and loosened his hand. Peter coughed, and stood a bit straighter. "What are you doing here?" sneered Bucky.
"Besides making up stories try and meet Tony?" Peter looked into Bucky's eyes, and replied. "I'm here for the internship, Mr Stark said come by the tower around dinner. So I did. Can you please tell him i'm here and i'm not late so i don't get fired?" Bucky dropped his hand, seeing the innocence in the boys sparkling puppy dog eyes and asked J.A.R.V.I.S . "Hey J, is this kid for real?" Bucky said, trying to be cool. Peter held a light smile as Jarvis replied. "Yes, he has not lied. Tony has been expecting him. I have already added him to the towers mainframe with a level 10 alpha pass." Jarvis said in a robotic voice. Bucky whistled while walking with Peter through security to the private elevator. "Even I don't have an alpha pass kid." Bucky said ruffling Peter's hair as a blush formed on the teens checks.
"Thanks for helping me Mr. Winter Soldier sir." Peter said as Bucky playfully punched his shoulder and chuckled. "Please, call me Bucky. I'm not as formal and Rodgers or Stark." Now both the teen and Bucky were laughing they didn't even notice the elevator stop and the group of special people stop to observe them. Bucky had barely talked to most of the avengers, let alone laugh with a random kid. Once they stopped and came out of the elevator the kid froze. He was now standing in front of his childhood heroes. Pietro, Wanda. Clint and Natasha were playing a board game while Sam, Steve, T'Challa, Shuri, Banner and Thor were sitting on the multiple couches and chairs watching the massive cinema like projection TV.
Natasha turned around so she faced Tony's office and yelled, "STARK!" that was followed by a "What?" as Tony walked out. Upon seeing the boy, Tony's eyes lit up. "Kid, hey! I've been expecting you." Tony said making his way to the other side of the room where Peter was. "Yeah. Had to finish my calculus essay Mr Stark but i'm here now i promise!"Tony clapped him on the shoulder then remembered. "Oh introductions." Peter chuckled.
"I kinda already know who everyone is Mr Stark." Tony replied with and 'Oh' then Steve stood up. "Steve Rodgers. How old are you and why are you here?" Peter shook his hand and gaped awkwardly before replying. "UM. I'm 15 and uh, I-um-I work for M-Mr S-Stark now." Steve looked to Tony for confirmation. "Tell them about your IQ kid." Peter's curls bounced as he looked up at everyone then down at his hands before replying. "270." Banner and Shuri both whistled.
Everyone looked utterly impressed. "Son of Man of Iron. I am Thor of Asguard. What does 'IQ of 270' mean?" Tony answered for Peter. "Means he's smarter than everyone in this room. Including myself." Thor gave an approving nod before turning back to the TV. Tony led Peter out of the room but before they could enter the elevator Shuri yelled, "THIS BITCH EMPTY!" Throwing it, Peter's spider sense went off so he ducked missing the empty bottle. Everyone looked surprised at his reflex's and the situation as Peter yelled back. "YEET!" Before entering the elevator with Tony.
