Logan still had his arms wrapped around Venus in a hug from behind. They were having a whisper conversation that Peter ease-dropped into. "I've missed you half-pint." "Yeah, Yeah." They chucked. "You still have them?" Logan raised his eyebrows and Venus ran out of the room, only to return with a dog tag. She placed it around her neck and hugged Logan once again, melting into his scent of mint and pine. "I've never took it off, Loge."
"Good. Gosh, you are such like your mother." Venus beamed and stepped away to hug her other uncle. "Good to see you uncle X."
"Good to see you too V. But I'm here on other business." Logan growled and mumbled something. "You are aware your mother was a mutant, like us, yes?" "I was aware, but Steve is technically a mutant too. What's the big deal." Peter stepped to Venus' side and eyed Logan, whom he did not trust around her.
"He have reason to believe that you have inherited your mothers mutation when you came of age. Now." Xavier continued but Tony interrupted. "So she's a mutant. What was her mother mutation?" "Control ice, her name on the X-Men was Storm. Her power could wipe out a single planet in under a second. Now it's been passed onto you." Venus' breathing quickened as she stepped back she bumped into Peter, but instead of saying sorry Peter wrapped his arms around her. She felt safe once more and leaned into Peter, Logan growled at the contact. Charles took a deep breath before speaking, "We have to take you to the school for a bit, just until you aren't afraid of your mutation and you can control it. Plus all the X-Men will be your teachers and you can be across the hall from Logan."
Venus looked to Logan who offered her a warm smile. She turned around to see Logan striding forward to pick her up and spin her a few times as she let out a squeal. Peter felt a surge of jealousy but quickly downplayed it as Logan looked his way with a predatory stare as if to challenge him. Peter went to Tony, who was still shocked, and muttered something about getting changed.Tony dismissed him and left Logan, Venus and Xavier to catch up.

Her blue suitcase rolled behind Logan as they set off to the roof, where the carrier was waiting to send them to the school. Venus felt something stick to her back and she was thrusted backwards into warm, comforting arms. She melted into Peter who buried his head into her neck. "I'll be back soon Spidey. Don't do anything completely dumb without me." "I won't." Peter muttered into her warm neck, not wanting to let go. "You know, I'm going whether or not you hug me forever, right-" "I can try." She laughed and pulled away. Venus sent Peter a little smile and a wave then proceeded onto the jet with Logan and Xavier. Once they were in the air, Peter walked back inside and was greeted by Tony. "Ice-cream?" "Ice-cream." replied Peter.
