PROCRASTINATION
When I was little, I watched this cartoon, "Barbie as the Island Princess". One thing I'll never forget (apart from all the songs of course!) is this quote, "Procrastination is a thief of time; do not put off for tomorrow, what can be done today".
Ironically, it was the villain that said that quote.Whatever that can be done today, do it!Try! From little tasks as washing the dishes or doing laundry to filing documents at the workplace or making that call.
I know to procrastinate can be oh so tempting. But the regret will be, and I promise you, oh so painful. Many have missed making that last phone call, having that last conversation with a loved relative all as result of procrastination. Many have missed that opportunity due to procrastination. If you have an idea, run with it! Cos trust me darlin', you're not the only one with that idea.
There's this term I heard somewhere, can't exactly recall, that tries to explain that situation...IDEA VIRUS. If an idea occurs to you, chances are that it's occurring to the guy crossing the street in another part of town and at the same time occurring to a baby_sitter sitting on a park bench. Bottomline is an idea doesn't occur to just one person, but it takes one person taking the idea and running with it to bring it to fruition. Be that one person!Although it may occur to a lot of people, you're probably the one who'd execute it best. So please don't let procrastination and laziness deprive the world of excellence.
Make the decision that "From now on, what waits until tomorrow starts tonight!" (the Greatest Showman...awesome movie). Make that decision AND stick to it.
