Hey ya this is a extra chapter! Because *drum roll* I now have the honor of saying this book is #4 in the Your Lie In April category!

Kaori's POV

On August 17th 6 months after high school ended in a field the one where we saw fireflies me and Kousei sat.

"You would not believe your eyes." He said

I recognized the song "Fireflies" our song.

"If ten million fireflies lit up the world as I fell asleep." I said

He pointed up and fireflies danced around our heads.

I set my phone down turning on our song as we spun around with the fireflies.

He took my hands and we spun around laughing.

Cause they fill the open air and leave teardrops everywhere

Teardrops were thrown from our laughter.

You'd think me rude but id just stand and stare

We stopped looking at them

"I like to make myself believe." I started

"That planet Earth turns slowly." He said

"Its hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep, cause everything is never as it seems." We both said grasping onto each other in a dramatical way

We broke up then.

All of a sudden we heard a squeal and "Miyarima!"

I blushed and yelled back "Oh hell nah!" I pushed Kousei to the ground and went home grabbing my coat and my phone.

As I stormed off I noticed Tsubaki and Watori and said "Swatori!"

Tsubaki fell and hit Watori it was pretty funny.

When I got home I got a call.

"Caller ID Friend A." It said

I answered and said "Hello?"

"You would not believe your eyes." He said

I had to answer it was our thing.

"If ten million fireflies lit up the world as I fell asleep." I said

We repeat our same lines and sang the song pretty much in unison.

When I hung up I was blushing.

I looked at our recent group photo and blushed.

Kousei with one arm around the other around Watori's Tsubaki on my other side.

Us in caps and gowns holding diplomas smiling for my mother's camera.

"I like him I know I do now but I'm leaving soon can I make the right choice?" I asked my mom as I put the last box in my car to be waiting at Tsubaki's house

"You'll make the right choice,sweetheart I never thought your father was the one." She said

I smiled as she started crying.

"Oh mom!" I said and hugged her

"Its just my little girl all grown up." She said

I fixed my skirt and pushed my glasses up.

My outfit was so goofy.

Glasses, pigtails, a skirt, and a tank top.

"My little girl!" She said and sobbed

I looked at my watch.

"I gotta go I'm gonna miss my flight. I love you." I said

She smiled and I hugged her again whispering in her ear.

"Thank you."

"For what?"

"For making me take piano." I said

I waved my parents goodbye and went to Kousei's.

"Hey Papa Arima." I said as he answered the door

I hugged him and he hugged back.

"Kousei! Girlfriends here!" He said

"Uh we broke up." I said

"Oh well freind here!" He said

Kousei walked down the stairs.

"Hey." I said

"Hey." He said

I threw my car keys at him and smiled.

"You're driving me and then dropping my car off at Tsubaki's for me!" I said pointing triumphantly

"Okay." He said

We got in and our song was playing.

It hurt me.

I boarded my plane waving him goodbye.

I put my headphones in and turned on Pandora.

Our song was on yet again.

Somehow I knew it would become our song again.

One day.

"You would not believe your eyes." I texted

"If ten million fireflies lit up the world as I fell asleep." He texted back

I smiled and look out the window.
