14. I Just Really Wish That You Were Here

I couldn't help but look Kaori had written me a goodbye letter in case she didnt make it.

It goes something like this.

Hey you I mean dear Kousei you were just here and now I'm writing you a letter kinda weird right?

Haha.

The first time I saw you I was five years old.

It was at a recital for the piano school I went to back then.

You marched out onto that stage and made us all laugh by knocking over the bench.

Seeing you that day changed my life.

Whatdya think of that?

I had surgery as a little kid but I've never been totally well.
I've been in and out of the hospital my whole life.

But there is a little something that gave me reason to keep going and not give up.

That was to see you again. To meet you. To fall in love with you.

To be by your side. To fulfill my sisters wish.

You've made me so happy these last few months.

You gave me infinity in a number of days.
