24th March, The Next Year
-Calum’s Point of View-
I sat in the room staring at the wall. The business people in front of me began to explain what was going to be happening. Tour with One Direction, staying in London. London. I looked at Ashton, who was already looking at me with a small smile on his face. We may be able to find Perrie and Jen. I still don’t know if the baby has been born, I think it has but Perrie hasn’t told me. I mean it’s not like she could because she doesn’t talk to me, she doesn’t answer her phone when I ring but I think that’s because she has a new phone, a British phone like the one getting pushed towards me right now.
“Thanks,” I smiled at the woman in front of me; she smiled at me and continued to read out the list in front of her.
What do I do if I do find Perrie? I’m angry that she left me, but I just know if I see her I’d run towards to her and hug her for being okay. People found out about her pregnancy and for a while people shot me glares but my glares back cut them short. Matt was a completely different story, he came walking over to me on the first day of school laughing his head telling me it was bad karma for ‘fucking his girl’, needless to say I was sent to the head’s office for punching him in the face. Gemma was super angry, angry that her two best friends left her but mostly angry at the fact they left her out. I think she’s even angrier now because we’re not graduating we’re dropping out, she’s left on her own but it’s only for 3 months. Perrie and Jen missed Ashton’s graduation which, even though he doesn’t admit it, annoyed him a lot.
“That’s everything,” The woman said, we all nodded our head and got out of our seats.
“We’re going on tour,” Luke said happily,
“And we’re going to London,” Ashton said,
“Don’t get your hopes up you two, you might not find them, they might not even be there,” Michael said, I nodded my head and turned my phone on, it had been off for the past 2 hours while they spoke about everything under the sun.
“I hope they’re both okay,” Ashton said as we walked to his car, I nodded my head agreeing with him as I waited for my phone to get connection,
“She’s not going to have text you,” Luke said walking next to me,
“I know I just hope today is the day she finally changes her mind and texts me,”
“Maybe it is,” He said, I shrugged my shoulders, slowly each day I had started to lose hope that she would text me. We piled into the car and drove back to Luke’s, my phone still hadn’t connected. What’s taking so long?
“Hey,” Luke’s mum said,
“Hey,” We all said,
“Excited?”
“Yeah, London and a tour!” Luke shouted happily, we all laughed and hugged each other,
“Cal?!” Mali shouted running through the front door,
“Yeah?”
“Why haven’t you been answering your phone? Why haven’t any of you?” She asked,
“Not on,” The boys said,
“Not connected,” I said,
“Turn them on now,”
“Mine’s still connecting,” I said,
“Give it to me,” She said snatching it off of me and fiddling with it. My phone buzzed numerous times, probably twitter.
“You have a text,” Mali said, I rolled my eyes at her and opened up the app freezing when I saw the name,
“Perrie,” I said, everyone ran over and looked at my phone,
“Open it up!” Mali shouted looking at the screen,
“You don’t know why she’s text me?” I asked,
“No, Jen rang asking for you,”
“Jen?” Ashton said,
“Yeah,”
“Open it,” Ashton said looking at me, I nodded my head and nearly fell to the floor when I saw it,
“My baby,” I said, everyone looked at the picture,
“Is it a boy or a girl?” Liz asked looking at the picture; I clicked off and looked,
“Parker Calum Michael Jones,” I said,
“MICHAEL!” Michael shouted happily, I read the rest of the message and laughed,
“What?” Mali asked,
“Parker Calum Michael Jones, born 24th March at 1am (thanks for that), Jen started to cry when she saw him so I hit her across her head which made the nurses laugh and is now the beginning of my stand up comedy career. I promised Clifford a while ago that I would make the baby’s middle name Michael so there you go Clifford you lucky son of a bitch. Everything’s fine,” I read,
“I’m an Aunt!” Mali screamed happily.
I’m a dad.
