-Perrie’s Point of View-

For the past two days Jen and Ashton have been weird. They keep staring at each other and laughing at each other’s jokes, even when they aren’t funny.

“Calum?” I asked as I watched Jen and Ashton run around with Parker, they were currently having a water fight with him,

“Yeah?” He asked turning his head to the left to look at me, he was currently writing a song for the band’s new album,

“What do you think is going on with those two?”

“I think they’re together,”

“You think?”

“I know, Ashton told me they were trying again,”

“I knew she wouldn’t resist him,” I said continuing to eat my watermelon,

“Me neither,”

“Great minds think alike,” I said laughing,

“They do,” He said smiling at me,

“Stop smiling at me like that,” I said laughing and hiding my face in my arm,

“Don’t do that, you did that when we first met,”

“We first met when I ran into your room away from Matt,” I said, he laughed,

“No, we met at your dad’s work party the year before; you know the one where you met Luke? I was there and I said hi but you ignored me and continued to talk to Luke,”

“So when did I hid my face in my arm?”

“When you bumped into me and spilt your drink on me, you were embarrassed and you hid,”

“I don’t remember that,” I said,

“That’s because I had this really long hair and I thought if I was going to get your attention I’d actually have to show my face. Girls were all over me before but when I cut my hair they were all over me,” He said, I laughed loudly,

“But you were the only girl I wanted over me,”

“I always knew you as the horny 4,” I said laughing, he laughed along with me,

“I know, you told me in the kitchen and I told you that you could add yourself to that list,”

“I hit you for that right?” I asked,

“Yes,”

“Good,” I said smiling at him, he smiled and continued to write the song. I continued to eat my melon while he finished the song,

“I’m just going to show this to Luke and Michael, I think they’re playing Fifa inside,” He said,

“Okay, have fun,” I said smiling at him, he smiled and leaned closer to me,

“Sorry,” He said walking away quickly, I frowned but looked away to see Jen staring at me,

“I’m out for a second I need to talk to your mummy,” Jen said loud enough for me to hear, I frowned and she laughed as she ran over to me,

“What?” I asked when she sat down next to me,

“Calum was about to kiss you,”

“You and Ashton huh?” I asked changing the subject,

“Don’t change the subject,”

“Answer the question,” I demanded, she sighed and rolled her eyes,

“We’re trying again,” She said, I smiled,

“I knew you couldn’t stay away,”

“Shut up Perrie,” She said pushing me back slightly as I laughed,

“I’m going to get more watermelon,” I said standing up,

“We’re not done talking,”

“We are for now, I need my melon,” I said laughing and walking past Ashton and Parker, who were throwing water at each other,

“Don’t kill Uncle Ashton, he’s getting old,” I said to Parker,

“Hey!” Ashton complained giggling; I rolled my eyes and ran to the door of the kitchen. I stopped when I heard my name,

“You nearly kissed her?” I heard Luke ask,

“Yeah, I don’t know why I even leaned in,” Replied Calum,

“Because you still love her,” Michael began, “It’s obvious dude,”

“I told her the other day remember? She didn’t say anything back and she hasn’t mentioned it since,” Calum said, fuck I knew I was forgetting something. I shook my head and walked into the kitchen,

“What did you hear?” Michael asked,

“I just came for watermelon,” I lied,

“Did you hear anything?” Luke asked,

“You guys are so weird,”

“Did you?” Calum asked,

“Yes,” I answered, they all groaned,

“Sorry dude,” Michael said walking into the garden with Luke trailing behind him. I started to cut up the melon as Calum fiddled with his fingers,

“Pez?” He asked, I smiled at the nickname and turned around,

“Cal,”

“About the other night when I, err, told you I love you,” He began,

“Yeah?”

“I didn’t mean it,” He said, I frowned,

“You didn’t?”

“No,”

“Oh, that’s a shame,” I said turning around to finish cutting up the melon,

“It-it is?” He stuttered,

“Yeah,”

“Do you love me?” He asked, I dropped the knife and looked at him with smile on my face,

“Of course I do Cal,”

“I lied,” He said,

“Huh?”

“I do love you,” He said, I smiled and walked over to him,

“That’s good,”

“It is,” He smiled, I laughed and wrapped my arms around him,

“Let’s take it slow, I know you and Mary have just broken up and we haven’t seen each other in 4 years and you’ve just met Parker. It’s a lot to take in,”

“Thank you,” He smiled,

“I love you,”

“I love you too,” I said kissing him, we were interrupted by the bell ringing, I frowned at Calum and walked to the door pulling it open quickly,

“Gemma?” I asked.
