Chapter 6

"Hi, Mom." We all walk into the kitchen to get a snack.

"Hey, sweetie. How was your first day back?" She smiles at me.

"Eh, it was okay." I tell her the truth.

"Alright. Well, you'll have to tell me about it later when these two leave," she gestures to Nicole and Emily. "I don't want to get in the way of all you hanging out."

"Okay. Will do."

Nicole, Emily and I decide to just eat some Popsicles. I pull the strawberry popsicles out of the freezer and hand Emily and Nicole one each and grab one for myself as well. We head upstairs and eat the popsicles in my room.

"So, you obviously still like Brent." Nicole smirks at me.

My heart skips a beat just hearing his name.

"Oh, yeah. I do." I start to blush a little.

"Soph's gonna have a boyfriend by the end of this year." Emily smirks at me and I want to slap her.

"Shut up!" I say and hit her arm lightly.

"Ouch!" Emily yells at me, hitting me back.

"Damn! I didn't hit you that hard!"

"Well it hurt, so."

"Whatever."

I take out my phone to check the time and it's 9:00 pm. I see a notification at the top of the screen from twitter.

@Michael5SOS is now following you!

I look over at Nicole and she's on twitter.

"Michael just followed some random girl that doesn't even follow him." Nicole says looking down at her phone.

"Yeah, he followed me just now." I tell Nicole.

"You little shit." She gives me the evil eye.

"Sorry — I can DM him and ask him to follow you if you want."

She starts nodding her head violently.

I follow Michael back and then DM him to ask him to follow Nicole.

@Michael5SOS: Hey! What's up?

@SophiaSmith: nicole wanted to know if you could follow her?

@Michael5SOS: Yeah, of course. What's her @?

@SophiaSmith: it's @nicolecatherine

@Michael5SOS: Will do :) xx

"Oh my god! Michael followed me! It took two years!" Nicole screams.

"Damn, girl. Chill." Emily tells Nicole.

"I'll try." Nicole laughs, screaming yet again.
